This was great. The flavor brought me back to the old days of Kentucky Fried Chicken. That hasn't happened for years. Same with the Cole Slaw and biscuits. The fries were dry so I deducted one star.
Dreadful service. Made an order of around $25 and drove into town about 15 minutes later to pick it up. We are about 20 miles from the KFC and it was evening rush house so it took a good 20 to 25 minutes to get there. I went through the order line and the man working it, said there was no record of the order. He checked again...no record. That tells me everything about how this business is being run. I used to buy chicken at KFC when I lived here about 10 years ago...no problem and good food. Now? I will never go there again.
The fries were good. The chicken planks were stringy and chewy. The gravy was hot, but very thin and watery.
Bought the chicken tenders family meal. Was over $40. I was in a hurry and never checked the order. I really should have. Got mashed potatoes instead of french fries, no dipping sauces, no silverware. Biscuits were hard as a rock as was the chicken, mac and cheese was old . Turns out the best thing was the mashed potatoes wich I did not order. Talk about a waste of money. Stay away far away. KFC used to be decent not anymore or at least not the one here.
This visit was probably one of my worst! The grumpy rude young man at the window taking orders got my order wrong, when I corrected him, he snapped "that's not what you said" and slammed the window shut. EXCUSE ME I know what I ordered because that's all I will eat from here. He proceeded to take his time and showed me he was doing so (he purposely took a good 2 minutes for him to give me ONE coke while he stood and chatted with his coworker). My order was still made wrong and there was no corn or cheese in ANY of our famous bowls. I really wanted to get my money back but what a hassel that would have been. I have a big family and we won't be going there NO MORE!
Great food. A bit pricey at $33 for 10 piece meal.
I had a pleasant experience and the food was good. The restaurant was clean and the service was fast.
The amount of times this KFC has been out of chicken, out of an item, or requires 30 minutes to make chicken for you has been pretty unreal. It is apparent that management is consistently unaware of how to stock appropriately, and/or prepare for any sort of lunch or dinner rush. The only reason this branch is still open is due to the fact that it’s the only one in Santa Fe. Customer service is incessantly horrid and I will avoid getting food here at any cost.
TODAY, DECEMBER 29, 2021, WE STEPPED TO BUY AND REQUESTED 16 PIECES OF ORIGINAL CHICKEN, WHEN WE ARRIVED HOME AND WHEN WE SERVE IT, THE CHICKEN AND FRENCH FRIES WERE REHEATED AND THE CABBAGE SALAD HAD AN UGLY TASTE. I DON'T RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS LOCAL, WE PAYED $ 42.82, WE HAD TO DROP THE CHICKEN, BECAUSE IT WAS VERY BAD AND WE COULD GET SICK.
Should have known better. I have had my card number stolen, ordered online and had to wait 45 minutes in line to pick up because the only way to pick up online orders is to go through drive thru, and tonight placed an order online only to get to the restaurant and find out it was closed. Terrible business practice.
