The food was excellent northern New Mexican, and our waitress was knowledgable about the wine list. Due to the fact it is in an old building, it can be noisier than desired.

It was my husband s birthday. We had a great time and the food was exquisite! I had the soft shell crab which was superb-don t get it that often in SFeâ¦my husband had the squash blossoms-delish too. I had the charred vegetable ratatouille-so many textures and flavors-best I ever had!!! To finish we shared the orange flan-definitely holds a candle to-now closed El Mesonâs. Thank you ALL and Kyra too.!!
I took my friend to Josephâs for her birthday. Every single person was gracious and lovely and made a beautiful atmosphere for a delicious dinner.
JOSEPH'S was lovely. Our server, Trent, was perfect and very good at his job. I have a terrible allergy to fresh garlic. Trent and the Chef went out of their way to make my meal incredible, tasty and elegant We definitely recommend !!!
What a chef! Weâve eaten everything on the menu, and we love it all, so now we just go for the specials. Joeâs creativity and selection of unique foods, particularly seafood, is exceptional. Last night we made a meal out of appetizers â half dozen oysters with really good sauces, two orders of squash blossoms, his incredible homemade mousse, and Vietnamese soft shell crab lettuce wraps. Everything was prepared and served perfectly. I wanted to try the special pan fried swordfish, but I didnât have room. I guess weâll have to go back.ð

Nice ambiance and good waitstaff..Poorly prepared food . Chicken under the brick and pork loin were tough and unremarkable ..The fried squash blossoms were good ..I had the worst Manhattan ever.I had been to the restaurant in the past and enjoyed it.
