Wonderful outdoor patio with umbrellas. Staff was friendly and attentive. We came for the Sunday brunch. It was excellent. I would have given 5 stars, except my waiter brought the wrong order. However, it was quickly remedied. The Joe's Benedict was superb. Perfectly poached eggs. Delicious smoke salmon. Salad was fresh and colorful. Altogether a delightful and fulfilling breakfast.
My son and I had Mother’s Day Brunch today at Joe’s Diner. It was lovely all around. The Eggs Benedict was delicious as was the Quiche Lorraine. Fresh and yummy! Great friendly service! The relaxing environment added to a special lunch.
We are local. All I wanted was scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and toast. Eggs were partially brown with no cheese. Bacon undercooked. Toast black on one side and untoasted on the other. We keep trying this restaurant because they outsource from local ranchers and farms. But it doesn’t matter if you can’t cook the food right. Such a disappointing waste food money and time. I am ready to give up on this restaurant☹️
It calls itself a diner but it is more of a sit-down restaurant with high quality food (more healthy, gourmet than greasy, comfort food). I was surprised to see wine options at a diner but like I said, not a typical diner.I was able to get a hamburger with a gluten free bun (hard to find in my experience). Fries were excellent. (I know I said not a typical diner but ordered a hamburger, my diet requires minimally seasoned foods so hamburger was what I needed).
Food was phenomenal and servings were the perfect size. We had no leftovers. A little pricey, but so worth it. I had the Spinach and feta quiche with a side salad, Hubby had liver and onions, Son #1 had Cesar salad with grilled chicken and Son #2 chose half a BLT with a cup of clam chowder. Would definitely recommend.
What a delightful find. Friendly, clean and fun. Good service! Menu is diverse with something for everyone. Start with with a espresso and bloody, finish with homemade desert. Food is fresh with local ingredients. Buy some art! Beautiful art work on dislpay of local talent. Will be back for homemade mozzarella and pizza, plus spaghetti special on Tuesday night. Check out menu and Joe's story online! Shhhhh..don't tell your friends...LOL....definitely a go to. On South side away from all the messy traffic.
$4 coffee! Breakfast for 4 (one had a fruit bowl) was $75 without tip. Good but nothing special at all.
Friendly diner decor. Great staff -- helpful, friendly, accommodating. Have been numerous times since moving to Santa Fe. Great for breakfast. Everything we've had for breakfast has been good. And dinner. (Haven't had lunch there.) Liver and onions -- how often do you see that on a menu? Good stuff. A liver pate appetizer. Best onion rings we've had in Santa Fe. Quiches are delicious. Pizzas are good (though I prefer a thicker crust). Avocado with shrimp and crab is good lighter fare. Good burgers. The Italian dishes aren't as good as the others (hence only four stars). We joke that we are eating our way through the menu. Reasonably priced. We like it!
The experienced staff is what makes dining at Joe's so enjoyable. Well, that and the ambience. And the menu selection. Sometimes the food is a bit salty for our tastes but that is ok. The quiche and salads and entrees really work for us. Oh, and the coffee too
Food home took over 30 min to get. Not that the food itself was bad but for 20-30 a plate it wasn’t that good… they may be short handed or some Ty seems everywhere is right now unfortunately
