Great restaurant with some of the best fajitas ever! Would strongly recommend to anyone who enjoys Mexican cuisine.
Best tacos I have ever had! The salsa and guacamole are also handmade and excellent choices as well. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I cannot wait to return to Santa Fe to visit this fantastic restaurant. Thank you all for a fantastic meal!!
We were so happy to find this restaurant in Santa Fe. The place is authentic, and the staff is very friendly, the food is just DELICIUOS. Great Margaritas freshly made. The food is well prepared, and the servings are just perfect. We enjoyed everything that we had that afternoon, and my favorite was the Chile rellenos. If this restaurant was located closer to the Plaza, I'm sure we were not going to be able to secure a table. Keep up the good work!!!
The recommendation of the mole enchiladas by one of the staff was spot on! The mole sauce was delicious, the chicken was tender, and the tortillas were prepared perfectly. The staff was also very friendly and personable.
Found this gem while visiting Santa Fe. Very friendly staff and quick service. The tacos were beyond what I expected! The steak was seasoned perfectly with fresh veggies and a wonderful spicy guacamole sauce. (I wish I could buy this!) we had a really good experience and will return on our next trip!
We are visiting from Austin Texas where we have many fabulous taco eateries. El Callejon ranks up there with the best of them. The atmosphere is cozy and the location close to all of the plaza sights that you want to see. Try the three taco plate where you can mix and match. The callabacitas vegetarian choice is very satisfying if you are skipping meat. The shrimp and fish ceviche is delightful & perfectly seasoned. The chips and salsa should not be ignored. lightly seasoned, crunchy not greasy and the salsa has just the right amount of heat. Service excellent, owners on premise.
Exquisite flavors and excellent service. Atmosphere was inviting and energetic but still a group of 4 could enjoy our conversation. Kudos to Lee Ann and team for a really nice experience.
We had a delicious dinner sitting at the bar, drinking a local IPA on tap. Good service from the bartender and the server. Nice authentic vibe and atmosphere - not bougie or pompous. We ordered the night’s special - chicken mole - Worth it for the satisfying mole sauce! (A BIG thanks to the server who ran after me with my forgotten handbag…)

It's a bar setting, but the food and service are very good. I had 3 tacos and they were the best I had in Santa Fe! You can mix and match the different types of tacos.
