There is a lot of delicious looking pastries here. The buckwheat crepe was light and filling but could have been better seasoned. Generally the food seemed to lack salt. I would recommend going here only for the pastries!
One of the absolute best French restaurants in the entire city. The food is extremely affordable for the quality you receive. I always go with the salami and Brie on a croissant. Service is always top tier as well. Make sure you take some time to look at the dessert case and pick a tasty treat.
We found the place where the locals eat while on vacation on Santa Fe and this is it. And let me tell you, they know where to eat! We had a 20 minute wait, so it wasn’t bad. The restaurant itself is adorable. Very cute decor and a great wait staff. We ordered the Eggs Benedict with ham, Nutella crepe, French toast, and Green Chile bacon quiche. Everything was delicious! We also ordered some pastries at the counter to take with us for later.
We loved our breakfast at Clafoutis. Great food, great service and lovely outdoor seating. We took sandwiches along on our road trip. Great find.
Stale baguettes, burned omelets, menu items trying to be “French” but lacking any cooking skill, broken tables, and apathetic service. With so many great places to eat in this city, you are far better off elsewhere.
Picked this place on a whim and so glad I did. It was delicious. Had the omelette of the day. The bread & butter is delicious. The bakery portion of the place is eye-popping and I wanted to buy 1 of everything.Prices were good too.Check it out.
I recently spent 2 weeks in Santa Fe. I went to Clafouti on several occasions and I just love this place. When you walk in, you are always pleasantly greeted by the staff and the owners. You feel welcomed the moment you walk in the door. Then you see the many wonderful pastries behind the bakery display cases and you just don’t know what to order since it all looks so delicious, There is a breakfast and lunch menu but you can also order from the bakery display cases. The first bite I took from the croissant I ordered literally took my breath away. As good or better than any croissant I had in France or in any or my travels. My husband ordered one of the omelets and he loved it. My favorite was the green Chile quiche. I went to this cafe on numerous occasions and every time I went, I tried new pastries or food items and I was never disappointed. I particularly like their mini sandwiches and regular sandwiches that I picked up for my plane ride back home. Great cafe, friendly staff and delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant/cafe.
Went their for breakfast and left with a bag full of pastries!! The French toast with fruit was very good, but the breakfast plate with prosciutto, salami, cheese, salad and baguette was amazing!! Highly recommend!!
My husband stumbled across this spot on Google and wow. As soon as we stepped in and saw the boulangerie we knew we were in for a treat. The beignets are so good. So light and fluffy and perfect. But that green chili ham and cheese croissant was the star. I devoured it in one sitting. Once I heard the owner speaking in French it all made sense to me. CANNOT recommend this place enough. Please come here.
We regret waiting until our last day in Santa Fe to eat here. the food, the cafe au lait, and the bakery aroma are wonderful.
