The food was great the the girl that was answering the drive thru an older woman was excellent as excellent I will only go back for her cause she went out of her way to make sure my order was perfect
I got the Fish sandwich. Looks great in the pic. Unfortunately it is a disappointment. Two square Fish patty and a bottom bun and a Top bun.Thats it.Dry no lettuce nothing. A single side of Mashed Potatoes and gravy.Which was the best part. A drink from the freestyle machine. Something that I never have enjoyed. It just doesn't sit right in my stomach. Never has.A bottle water is more enjoyable than that kind of drink.
Coming from Chicago where the fried chicken is really good (Harold's or Brown's before their unfortunate demise), I haven't had Church's in like 30 years. It's also interesting to note that in Chicago (and maybe elsewhere) there was a brutal rumor in the african-american community that Church's had an intentionlally added ingredient that would make you sterile after consuming it. Not kidding.But here in Santa Fe, I always saw a decent line at the drive-thru, so I finally gave it a shot. I love the fact that you can just call out requests for individual pieces without the KFC attitude. And the fact that the wings are huge as they're still attached to an awesome and healthy-sized chunk of breast meat. Just ordered an on-the-spot sampler of different pieces and some Cole slaw. And it was teally fresh and good. So in all, super cool, friendly staff without any attitude, coupled with really good chicken and the freedom to get any combination of pieces and side that you want to explore or maybe re-visit. ?
It was good to go even though they screwed up my order no biggie was great food yummy I am staying about 20 miles away and didn't check the box but was damn good ????
I called in an order, first of all I didn't know that was possible being that the doors are locked there's no dine-in but the night before I had waited in line for a long time and ended up just leaving cuz the line was not moving, I placed my order came to the door knocked and I came in and paid for my stuff everything was right and fast didn't have to wait in that long car line
The young man taking the order at the drive thru was very friendly and attentive. He took my order quickly and in a very kind way he thanked me. Easy and fast transaction as the fast food industry should be.
I tried the new fish sandwich. Don't! I think they made it at least an hour before giving it to me or just being in a foil bag made the bun soggy and cooled the fish fillet.....
Food was nice and fresh when we got there! They were out of a few things, like Mac and cheese and apple pies, but the food was delicious. We always love the tenders from here!
They had a sign up that stated they close at 9pm. I arrived at 830pm. Waited for several minutes in drive thru no one greeting me. Said hello into the speaker no response. Pulled up to drive up window they had their tea canister blocking the window! As I drove around I saw an employee stuffing her face with food and talking on the phone. No I know why they didn't want to respond they were to busy eating. Closing early to steal and eat leftovers.
They changed their okra sizes. That is supposed to be the side for their grande meal that for a family. That is the size of a medium mcdonalds french fries. That is only enough for one person. Maybe. Not even close to a family size side.
