While visiting the Santa Fe plaza we found this little gem on a side street. Good variety of options, both for a coffee break, lunch or to get something for your sweet tooth. We both had sandwiches and they were delicious. They were served w tasty chips. There are salad options as well. The serving staff were pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend it if you're in the area.
Wonderful place to grab a light bite and with some very good coffee options. Had a salmon salad and some quiche, both very good! Met the owner who is French. Wonderful person! He also has some extraordinary original art inside the cafe. One artist in particular is extraordinary and this cafe is the only location in the US you can see his work (Maurice Douard).
An earlier review had mentioned that this cafe had the best croissants around, but our experience was the absolute opposite. (Granted, that review was from a few years ago, but it was a major disappointment to receive an extremely dry chocolate croissant that seemed like it was maybe week old.) The turkey/cranberry sandwich was good, but that definitely was the best thing out of the items the four of us ordered for lunch. Two of us got our food after a while, but the other couple had to wait and wait and wait ... like are they running to the store for more bread, or what? No communication about what was taking that long. So the service was not terrific.
This place has amazing sandwiches!! We got the avocado and Chile and egg salad sandwich and they were DIVINE! The chips are delicious too. The strawberry cupcake was decadent. We would attach photos but the food was gone too quickly.
Me and My staff have visited this Cafe since they opened today one of my staff went this gentlemen is kind outgoing and honestToday 2/11/2022 the Owner accused my employee of stealing a sandwichmy employee went for lunch for himself and according to my guy the other worker handed him a sandwich and said sorry for the wait my guy helped someone else with that foodI personally went to buy a V8 and a Mushroom Elxir the owner yelled at me and demanded that i punish my worker I then paid my workers tab for what he "was Accused of stealing" I told my worker to settle differences to keep peace among neighbors. the Owner then yelled at my Worker and said "Don't you or your co-workers ever come back"Okay Fine we will never go to your cafe ever again its now a department Policy
First of all this place is so unorganized. Was a regular customer maybe 3 days out of the week I eat here. Although they take their time making sandwiches which can be frustrating, this most recent time I ordered my sandwich waited well over 10 minutes for a “blt” the manager or owner I’m assuming handed me two sandwiches stating “sorry for the wait” Now I’m pleased thinking I got 2 sandwiches for my wait. I proceed to give the second sandwich to my boss and as he went across the street for a drink to go with the sandwich the “manager” “owner” stated I have stolen a sandwich when in reality they made the mistake by handing me two sandwiches. We are ordered to pay for the second sandwich that they made the mistake on and stated to “never come back” so unprofessional. I have never experienced such rudeness and I work downtown Santa Fe. I hope this business goes under for their uncalled for rudeness when they made the mistake in the first place. Maybe if the place was in order more they wouldn’t get ordered mixed up
Stopped in this morning and had the most amazing oat oat milk & almond flavored latte with a gluten-free sandwich. I enjoyed the music playing and the friendly atmosphere.
Love the new Lincoln Avenue location! My friend and I came in and she got the “Croissant de l’Artiste” and I had a custom-made vegetarian sandwich. The ingredients were tasty and fresh! I truly savored soft yet crisp sandwich. The food here leaves you feeling satisfied. The ambience is clean, bright and classy—especially appreciate the outdoor Terrace! The owner said heaters are on the way! Will be back to enjoy a cup of hot tea or cocoa and enjoy the icicle lights in the tree!
Enjoyed a deliciously smooth Oat milk-Matcha latte, with a couple of warm beignets. And my puppy enjoyed herself too! Dog friendly is always a plus!
Enjoyed a delicious cheese plate with a variety of cheeses from France- topped with peppers from Basque Spain, and washed it all down with a delicious lavender Matcha- latte; while admiring the beautiful Christmas decor. This cafe is class all the way!
