The vegan burrito was delicious! Order that. But the tofu in the taco was not marinated at all, and the vegan chicken in the taco tasted like that nasty processed soy (not the regular processed soy). My husband liked his del Norte burrito, and the roasted salsa was delicious. So, do yourself a favor and just stick with the vegan burrito and the chips and salsa!
My wife and I went here on our first night in Santa Fe and it was just what we needed. The Green Chili Stew was incredibly good. We also had their house salad and it was perfect. They know how to cook. We chose a fish taco as well and it was ok, but the fish was not seasoned at all. We were surprised by that because everything else was spot on. We would definitely eat here again.
I love love love the shrimp street tacos here. Any chance I get, I choose to eat here.If you have allergies, such as to avocado, make sure you mention it while ordering because in some instances, it doesn't list it on the menu.
The portions were very reasonable given the price - whether that be the tacos, burritos, or salads. The service was quick and friendly.The food itself was good but didn't standout in a town full of Mexican options. The meat was quite good but the vegetables weren't very fresh or particularly flavorful.
My daughter wanted a burrito and I wanted fish tacos and it was 4 pm. This place was perfect with lots of options. We were able to sit outside too. I got one fish and one salmon taco. I liked them both but the salmon more. My daughter got the bumble bee burrito with chicken and said it was delicious. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options too.
Fun and funky Santa Fe eatery. All food prepared to order, so prepare to wait a few minutes after ordering, AND absolutely worth the wait! Fish tacos were awesome and I only got one bite of my wife's incredible goat cheese and squash quesadilla. My wife often finds a lot of food too spicy, and it was not spicy for her at all. This place would be on our frequent visit list if we lived in Santa Fe!
Stopped in for lunch while visiting family in town, was recommended by someone local, and was pleasantly surprised by Bumble Bee’s Baja Grill. I ordered the Green Chili Bacon Cheeseburger, and have to say it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, top 3 no question. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and were happy to help our group. One other menu item I would highly recommend, the onion rings are also some of the best I’ve had! I will be back the next time we visit Santa Fe.
We decided to try it based on the reviews that we had read. I can’t remember having a more tasteless hamburger. To top it off we waited for over half an hour to get them. We both ordered the green chili burgers with guacamole. The meat was unspiced and overcooked, the guacamole pretty much nonexistent and the buns were dry, old and tasteless. We would have gotten much better burgers at a fast food restaurant for a half the price.
Terrible Experience. I placed my order and my math concluded they overcharged my by 20%. I told the cashier that was wrong and he read the order back off to me and it was correct. I paid and asked for a receipt which he reluctantly gave me. I noticed 4 items on receipt that i didn't order and he conveniently left off when he repeated the order. Same guy brought me my order and I brought it up to him and asked him about it and he acted surprised but did nothing so I brought it up to a different guy who first tried to refund me 10% then after prodding he reimbursed me the full amount. In all fairness: Pros: Very generous kids pricing and portions were huge. Kids didn't complain or eat half of what they got it was adult portions. I did try the rest of my kids burrito as I was hungry and hoping it would be good and one bite and I didn't want any more. Cons: -Fish Tacos are allegedly some of the best in Santa Fe and any google search will confirm. I thought they were terrible. I ordered three and ate 1 not even finishing it. - They nickle and dime you i.e. I ordered guacamole dip and they charged my for chips and a very small amount, you have to pay for refills, you seriously have to pay for salsa a first for me - They don't even offer Cheese dip. I've never been to a Mexican themed restaurant and cheese dip isn't on the menu. - My wife ordered a veggie burrito and wouldn't eat it said it was inedible. She isn't picky and is always very satisfied if she eats at Chipotle - Obviously the opening statement of over charging me then repeating my order back to me and conveniently leaving off what i didn't order is the con of all the cons
Good people, great food. Lots of options and everything I’ve tried so far has been great. Prices aren’t cheap, but totally reasonable! Love that they are open (Santa Fe) late.
