Spent a weekend in Roswell, stumbled upon this place. It was fantastic food, the people were very friendly and made us the best biscuits! We tried to go back the next day and they were closed, but we would have eaten there everyday. Try it, hang out with the owners - good people.
First timer and all I got to say is everything was delicious, it took a little while to get our food but definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere of the place was just great everyone was just enjoying their company and chatting away real home like feel.
Lovely husband/wife running this cafe. Great food. Have catfish if offered...delicious!
Very cheap and good! Extremely nice staff
What a small wonderful cowboy place. The waiter was super nice & made me a special dish, I requested. The hamburger meat was so delicious. We'll be going back for sure. Thank you, Terry!
A nice homey, country place with friendly people. The food is great & cooked to order. Wonderful place to find when you're traveling.
Convenient if you're at battle auction. Good meal.
I rarely write a bad review, especially for small businesses since I know how hard it is for them to survive, but a lot of things went wrong when my friend and I visited here. We came here for lunch and when we arrived there were probably one or two tables with patrons. I saw oatmeal and thought it should be served relatively fast since that is the kind of food you prepare in advance and just serve; cooking oatmeal takes a long time. I also made an order of onion rings and a serving of sausage on the side. The waitress asked if I wanted the onion rings to be served before everything else and I said yes. After we finished ordering, more and more tables got filled, and as we waited for our food, we grew a bit concerned since though some people were vaccinated, the Delta variant is on the rise and we saw the waitress sitting at the tables taking orders from possibly patrons she knew. We waited a long time for our food and we saw salad getting served to people at tables coming after us. I thought the onion rings would be served first since the waitress specifically asked us when we wanted it to be served. After a long wait, our food came. When the waitress brought our food, she immediately told me that the oatmeal that I ordered was just made and was very watery. By the look, it did look watery. She offered me to take it back and had the cook make it again but I said no. I was not going to wait another 20 minutes for a bowl of oatmeal. It did not taste good. I had two or three spoonful and decided that I was not going to eat it. The sausage was very salty. I am a salt lover and when I say something is salty then most of people would consider it very salty. I only had half of the sausage and could not eat any more of it. The onion rings were only lukewarm. My guess is that the onion rings were sitting there while the cook made the watery, inedible oatmeal. I ended up only had a bite or two for every single dish I ordered. My friend ordered an omelet and only ate half of it. My friend and I did not want to stay for another minute. We eyeballed our check and came up with enough cash to cover the food, tips and then some. I handed it to the waitress and we both dashed out of the door. I ended up going in downtown and ate a subway sandwich afterwards.
I wish there were more reviews for this place! This place is a must when you go to Roswell! We were traveling through from Arizona and stopped here and were so glad we did. There meat is never frozen and the bacon is to die for! This is the best homemade home style breakfast you will get away from home! You must go here! Our waitress was the best! I adored her. She was very sweet! She shared tips and tricks with us and was very helpful! I would give a hundred stars if I could!
10/5. Never have I given a more deserving 5 stars. The service was amazing as was the food. Best of food and people! We were a big group so we got a bit of everything and it was all outstanding. Everything made fresh and perfect. Wish I got more pics of the food but we dug in too quickly. We also got some of their homemade fried pies and ice cream. All the meat was fresh and sauces homemade. I give this the highest of recommendations. Locally owned and sourced
