My wife and I shared a rack of the amazing baby back ribs and had several sides to go with them. The ribs were very tender, virtually falling off the bones, and the sauce they have is just right with a hint of tang. The sides were all excellent. I highly, highly recommend the corn on the cob and the onion rings. Save room for dessert! They have most excellent pies, including pecan and apple. The cornbread muffins are fantastic. southern style. The place is run by the two owners. They are very pleasant and accommodating. I understand these folks are from Texas, and they know their barbecue! The portions are BIG. They really spoil you here. We had to take some home, and the stuff was all outstanding the next day, too! BEST barbecue in town by a long shot. I hope they stay here forever, because this is just what we need.

These folks are awesome! Stopped here on a trip back to Albuquerque and I wish I could've gone again! The owners are so kind and we chatted for a long while. The food is delicious, the brisket sandwich was so tender, flavorful, and well cooked, from authentic Texans with an amazing recipe! The sauce is also unique and pairs so well with the tender meat! Don't miss out on some fantastic BBQ in Roswell.

Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. Truly! I rank this place alongside Pecan Lodge in Dallas and Franklins in Austin.I had the 2-meat plate with brisket, pulled pork, corn muffins, and mac and cheese. The meat was tender and fell apart in the best way. I will be thinking about that mac and cheese for years! Honestly, the whole meal too… it was perfection! The service was great as well and the decoration was so cute (in the best way). They even have bagged left overs for dogs which makes me so happy (and my pup too!).I may have to start finding more reasons to travel this way more often so that I can enjoy La Sierra sooner rather than later!

Absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend. Had the loaded baked potato. Yummy. Kids got pulled pork sandwich. Would stop by again when we pass through.

Our "outer limits" adventure had us arriving to a slower time of Sunday afternoon. We didn't even wait 5 minutes for our food to arrive at the table. The owners were extremely nice and engaging in conversation. The recipes were well crafted and very flavorful, especially the green chile brisket sandwich.Their overall atmosphere inside is cozy and inviting along with the value and quality of the food, it was a great experience trying a local spot.Everything being made onsite is a huge incentive when looking for local spots. Thank you for sharing your story and your New Mexican flare with some intergalactic travelers.

We stopped here for lunch and we weren’t disappointed! They have excellent barbecued ribs and fried okra! My husband thought the ribs were some of the best he has ever had and the okra was very fresh. My guess is they batter it themselves, if not you would never know. Delicious!

Almost passed this place up! Don't judge from the outside!!! It looked like a sonic so we almost drove off....until we drove around back and smelled the smoker! Whoa! This little gem is run by a husband and wife who are charming but their food speaks for itself! This master chef makes some of the best brisket we've ever had and the chili fries are literally a must! This homemade chili is like no other! The BBQ sauce is also super delicious and the cherry cobbler was light and tasty! This place is a must in our book!

Absolutely excellent mesquite-smoked brisket, and LOTS of it in the meat plate, which comes with 2 large sides. Among our party we had slaw (sweet, crunchy and good), potato salad (yummy), really cheesy homemade Mac and cheese, and savory pinto beans. All good. World’s friendliest proprietress and cook, the co-owners. Stop here for carry out or eat inside or at picnic tables. This place is in a re-done Sonic - absolutely nothing fancy - it’s all about the good food.

Pulled pork and brisket were both good. Coleslaw was a little sweet for me but the potato salad was a nice balance. *Huge* portions. Best BBQ in town??

Stumbled across this place a few months ago and forgot the name and location, then stumbled across it again today and was NOT disappointed, I had the pulled pork sandwich a few months ago and today we had the brisket plate and sausage plate also had the mac& cheese, potato salad and coleslaw. Coleslaw was toooo sweet but everything else was excellent ??.
