Food surprised me. I will say the previously over salty food has been replaced with no salt at all. Maybe just a bit of salt while cooking. Otherwise clean pleasant food.

I have been to many Golden Corals across the country and this is the best one ever. Place was very clean. Bathrooms kept up too, not slippery. Food was made in small fresh batches which ensured the quality of the meal. I had to even stop the manager and congratulate him on having such a great place.

The food was delicious good service first time got to go back to Golden Corral since before covid

Golden Corral used to be the buffet place second to none. Recently I visited one of the locations for dinner. I have to say is, "What the heck happened"? The rolls were the rolls that other restaurants would strive to make, but they were so high on a pedestal that no other establishment could ever reach. This time I went I threw most of them out. They were dry, hard, and did not taste anywhere close to what they once used to. The pot roast had no flavor nor did the mashed potatoes. I understand that we all have our bad days, or new cook's that are just learning the menu and recipes of the company expectations and standards of taste, quality, smell, and presentation. Also I don't know if they are short staffed or employees do not stay and work the position they are scheduled to work. Or the General Manager and the managing staff are not implementing, and enforcing company standards, and expectations that I'm sure are in the policy and procedures. Employee expectations, job and position expectations. I know we all might not agree what is written out and expected from the company we work for. But at the end of the day it says Golden Corral on the building. It doesn't say Mike's Cafe, or Susie's Kitchen. So we need to get back to basics retrain or restaff, and if that's not the problem then management needs to change from GM on up. I'll try one of your locations again in the near future, hoping that it was just a bad day and time for that certain location. And my faith in Golden Corral can be brought back from throwing away the rolls to buying several dozen to take to corporate cookouts and family dinners.

We didn’t eat here. It looked small from the outside so we went in to check it out and saw that there was much less food options than all the other golden corrals we’ve been to. We even just ate at another location a couple weeks ago. This location looked like it’s missing a whole bar of food. They weren’t just out, it’s just not there because they’re so small. They also don’t have the new shrimp that they’re advertising and have posters of on their wall…So you want me to pay the same price and have less food options? No thank you. Not worth $16. I’ll eat elsewhere.

We rec'd an early bird special that was about $11 per person..senior and a disabled. I noticed about a fourth of the food offered appeared dried out/left over from the lunch rush. We were eating from about 3-4pm. While we were eating, the amount of people in the restaurant continued to rise. However, no fresh food was brought out. The dessert and salad sections DID have fresh looking food and counters. However the main entre area looked like 100 people had just rushed the counters! We used the ladies room prior to eating and were very disappointed. I am the disabled person so headed for the disabled stall and there was fecal matter all over the toilet! At least 3 workers came and went during the time we were in the rest room. The stall I had to use was extremely tiny with very short/low toilets. I felt like I was 'falling in' because I had both of my knees replaced in 2019. Without any bars to help me get up, I had to push against the backwall with one hand and push my torso up without losing my footing or hurting myself on all the items on the walls! On the positive side, our waitress did a great job checking back with us. She also filled our travel cups with ice! The general area we sat in was across from the desserts and was extremely clean.

I’ve eaten here twice since the pandemic, in January and February. Last month service was not good, as no drink refills were offered or plates cleared. This time was the opposite, a friendly attentive waitress who kept drinks filled and plates cleared. I have serious concerns about cleanliness this year. In both visits I had to point out or reject dishes with dry food, and dirty silverware. In the recent visit the third plate down was clean. This is the only restaurant in town where it’s been an issue, so I’m not unusually fussy. The “clean” table had visible drippings and crumbs that were overlooked- worse under napkin dispensers etc. This was never a problem here in years past. Food was typical for a buffet, okay but not like potluck or home cooking quality. Prices are good, and it’s not crowded at peak times.

Wow, a down hill slide to awful food. Lunch was $25 for 2 adults. Everything was old, cooked days ahead. Pot roast was reheated until it was jerky and burned. This place needs some management quality control. All you can eat buffet is not a value when every item is bad. Brown lettuces, raw catfish, etc. Hard, over heated muffins.Used to enjoy the variety and fresh daily cooking. We won't return.

It was around 1:30 in the afternoon, & they couldn't get the food out. The place was busy, but everyone had to wait for even the mundane items, like fried chicken &fried fish. And with all that, it was really over priced.

Great server named Patty. Great food. Was a blessing to have been there
