very nice cozy authentic alien themed bakery and restaurant. excited to get home for the wedding cookies i got in bulk from my trip here.
Wonderful service, but the food left a bit to be desired. Chips tasted somewhat stale, and the pastor tacos had less flavor that expected. By no means bad and for a decent price, convenient if you're downtown.
The customer service was OK? she had a hard time understanding that I wanted sweet tea? Idk it was really awkward experience lol. Don’t eat here if you don’t like stuff coming from a can. Beans are awful(canned as well). If you like TEX-MEX AVOID!! It taste like ElPaso Sauce from a can too ): I could have made this at home.Was super disappointed consider the ratings.

Let me first start off saying I love Mexican food. Love it! And I’m pretty open to new experiences. I’m in New Mexico for work so I ordered Door Dash. Got some chili cheese fries and a green Chile stew. When I opened the bag there was a a folded piece of paper in it,which I thought was a receipt. Nope, it was a bunch of proverbs from the Bible. Keep your religious rhetoric to yourself! Stop trying to force your beliefs on customers. It’s rude and crazy as hell.Now for the food. When people hear the words chili cheese fries a certain image comes to mind. Here’s what I got. Soggy undercooked fries with weird melted cheese. That’s it. Where’s the chili?! Awful. Simply awful.So when I think of a stew, I think of a hearty meat and potatoes type dish. Well, El Toro had a different idea. They think it should be a weird, bad smelling soup. Watery and thin. DoorDash literally gave me a full refund plus an extra $5 because everything was so terrible. Do yourself a favor an order from somewhere else. This place is a dumpster.I’ve attached pics so you know I’m not making this up.

I found a toothpick in my food and the waitress didn't even care when I showed her. We ordered queso but she never offered to bring us chips. She never checked on us while we were eating and our drinks were completely empty by the time we got halfway through our meal. She never even offered to go boxes or to see if we wanted drinks to go since we hadn't had anything to drink for at least 20 minutes. When we told her all of these reasons is why we didn't tip her, she just shrugged her shoulders.

We went in to check it out. It smells great! We looked around and decided on the lemon cheesecake and the tres leaches cake. The leaches needed more liquid.
We absolutely loved it! Dariana was our server and she was awesome. The plates were served with generous portions of fresh vegetables and the meats were very moist.
