The food was ok, but they gave me the wrong order. Not the worst, we had a big party, but it took them half an hour to get my food to me and they actually forgot I hadn't gotten my food yet. Whatever, they gave me my food for free. Except when my meal arrived, they forgot my fries... Waiter had to take a call and didn't ask if we needed refills so the manager had to come take care of it. Server was polite, but overall not a great experience.
The food is delicious. I had a blackened Cajun salmon and a chicken spinach Alfredo bowl. The service is super slow, the waitress comes by very rare and when I asked for the menu in hopes to get a dessert I never was given one! The table computer was out during the visit, not sure if it would have made things faster if it was working. The silverware also was a bit smudged when I unwrapped it from the napkin.
The last two times i ordered steaks via DoorDash I ordered them medium. But they ended up being so medium rare they were purple and hard to cut through. I normally love their food but the last two times haven’t been good experiences
There was a line of people waiting to be seated and waitress wouldn't acknowledge anyone. There were plenty of tables yet no one wanted to seat the customers. Myself and another person went to the bar, and we couldn't get service there either. Don't waste your time here go anywhere else.
Food was good as usual, our bartender/waitress was not very intentive. They weren't very busy at all and for her being right in front of us, we had to keep asking her for the things we wanted.
Edit-thank you to Applebees for reaching out about the issue. I’ll update my review after my next visitThis visit was pretty bad from the time we walked in to when we left it. There was only 10 other people in the place for the first hour when we were there and it took about 15 min to get our apps. We were told there was only one person cooking. The drink glasses may have been clean but they’re permanently covered in so many water spots and other markings that make them feel and look dirty. And we’re asked to hold our straws while they get a refill…My mac n cheese was basically noodles drowning in a bowl of liquid cheese that had little flavor. I was thankful for the bacon. My sandwich was so toasted that I had to remove the crusts because it was rock hard and I couldn’t bite through it. My husbands burger was supposed to be pink and no tomato but came well done, dry and with tomato. I personally don’t like when waitresses take orders without an order pad as often times things are messed up. I sat there eating for almost 10 minutes while they made a new burger for my husband. The new one was cooked perfectly but was dripping with grease so bad it was running down his hands. And suddenly after she brought the new burger over she started calling us “babe”? The hosts also weren’t very smiley/welcoming. Next time for a $60 meal I’ll go somewhere better. Our $11 McDonald’s meal the day before was much better.
Our server Katel Lnn has a good personality and attitude so out thanks goes out to her, and not her fault the establishment was out of everything I ordered. The rest of my party of 4 enjoyed their meal. Service was quick.. Restrooms were clean.
Zero stars is appropriate for such terrible service. Our to go order, was wrong three times, staff is WAY over-worked & the sewage smell was sending staff & customers out.MAJOR kudos to the management team: they were ALL stepping up to help every person when they could. I hate to think what the franchise & staff lost.
Walking in from Houston Tx, was welcomed by a rude hostess, waited a good while for our table. (They were NOT busy) Then our waitress took a long time to come to our table. Brought drinks for 7 people holding them against her dirty shirt. Most orders were wrong and drink glasses were dirty. Please check your drink glasses before you drink. This has been by far the most nastiest Applebee's I've ever visited. Y'all are welcome to come to Texas where we are clean, friendly and professional.
Ordered online for curbside pick up and I got my food quickly. I only had to wait 3 mins and that was just so the kind worker could go grab my food for me; it was already done.
