Stopped in before making the 75 minute drive home from SRMC. A little hard to find because the entrance to parking is in the back with no direct driveway off the frontage road, but don't be discouraged. It's worth snaking through some parking lots to get to it.Our server described their goal as establishing a speakeasy sort of cocktail vibe. The drinks were accompanied by the best tapas I have been served outside of Spain. The menu lends itself to ordering several dishes to share and all were very good. We had grilled asparagus, patatas bravas, and fried panko coated avocado, with an afterthought of gambas. All delicious in perfect portions, with nice presentation.The excellent cocktails are not to be missed. I had the smoked Manhattan (smoked drinks are a specialty of theirs). The beer and wine lists were not extensive but fine, with specials and happy hour discounts. There was also live music the night we went. Very enjoyable and the right volume for the venue. Will defintely visit again!
My husband and I went to try this place after my parents had a visit and said great things about it. The food is phenomenal! I love all the options and the whole concept of having a small portion but with variety is very unique. The drink menu was very creative! I haven't been to a place in town that has such a cool drink menu. Everything was delicious. We were served quickly! By the time we sat down and ordered to the time we were served was about 10 minutes. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. The atmosphere is chill. We will absolutely be back!

Well i have been back to whiptail multiple times already.With each visit the foods gets betterThis time it was Brunch time and i had the Wild Mushroom Omelette with a Jennifer Rose cocktail, Both were EXCELLENT.Think i turned into a regular customer of Whiptail...Definitely will be coming back to Whiptail more often

Tried for the first time tonight. This place is amazing! Such a cool place, the whole experience was a ton of fun. The entire staff was fantastic, high class and super friendly. We ordered a table full of small plates and drinks. Food was delicious and the bartenders were awesome. Every drink was bubbling, smoking or color changing. The guitarist/singer was also fantastic. We have needed a place like this for a long time! We will be regulars here! Perfect date night or friend time. Going back to check off every dish and drink they offer! HIGHLY recommend!!
We had a great lunch! The charcuterie board was great and we shared the Cubano sandwich as well as fried shishito peppers. Our server, Joslin was excellent as qell. We will be back for sure.
Went for mother's day brunch. Not much breakfast items. Only 1 omelette. Got a Cubano. Very thick slabs of meat. Pork belly not cooked well enough to my taste and very dry. Would have preferred slices of ham etc not a slab. Wait staff is great. Everything a la carte. Pricey. Surcharge to use credit/debit so bring cash.
I came here because I saw the restaurant on my way somewhere else about 100+ times. So I thought to finally give it a try and went here with a buddy of mine. I got the Cubano sandwich with the Chicharrones and my friend got the Philly Cheese steak and Bao Buns. It was all delicious. I split the Cubano with the Philly and I'm glad I got to taste both. The Chicharrones were so delicious, I could've eaten a whole bowl of them.Zane was our server and was very professional and courteous. He made sure everything was as it should and was a big help.Thanks for the meals.
What a cool place! The food was great and the craft cocktails are AMAZING! The only negative reviews on here are about the prices, and they are TOTALLY reasonable-$11-13 for really creative cocktails with great spirits. For a fun time, sit at the bar and talk to the bartenders-ask them for their favorite drinks and food. You won’t be disappointed!
