Well, it's Saturday. Menu is a little confusing, as if they are trying too hard..knife was dirty, only 2 cooks, basic breakfast took a while. Place was very busy. Employees were working very hard to get orders filled. Food was great. Lisa was very attentive. Got free pancakes too.
The host was very nice and quick to get me and my dad a table. She communicated very well when a table was available to other guests. Our waitress was very nice, she was always checking on us. Wish I would have gotten her name. She did awesome job. She was even able to suggest a few items on the menu. Awesome service all around. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend getting a pie for dessert or to take home.
Food was good. The older waitresses were really great. They were cleaning tables and asking if we were ok. Our younger waitress was not so great. She took our order and that was the last time saw her, she never brought refills or asked if we needed anything , she disappeared the whole time we were there. O wait she did bring us our check after we were done with our meal.
Actually it was awesome. I got a chicken fried steak skillet and wife got western omelet w gravy, free pie day on Wednesday, yeaaa. Haven't been there in years and really really glad we chose it! Waitress/ manager females, we're super cool. Wasn't that expensive. Regular atmosphere. Everyone working hard! Clean! Thx ladies for everything.
Having breakfast every Friday morning was our weekly thing but that stopped due to the pandemic. So sitting down and enjoying a good breakfast again with familiar faces was comforting.
Went on free Pie Tuesday! So awesome! On top of a delicious VIB breakfast, I got the apple pie with caramel sauce and ice cream. It was so tasty! Definitely doing that again! Best bacon and eggs ever!
Given wrong pie at Christmas for Pickup. Would not give me a refund. Their fault and some girl came Out of Kitchen saying no way getting refund. Terrible. They use to be nice.Gave them a second chance and set us at dirty table. Floors dirty and when we stated no they were not customer friendly.Came and had fun for 17 years, no more. Sad they could not bounce back better. Terrible service and manager.
Had not been to a Village Inn in years. Please don't serve black bacon!! It was aweful. Didn't send it back because we had already waited 40 min. The sausages were cold.The country potatoes were dry. No taste really. Eggs were just ok. The only thing that was excellent was the strawberry crepe. So I basically paid $13 for 1 good crepe! I would only go back for the strawberry crepes. The rest i"m never ordering again.
Waitress was wonderful, food good, denver omelet, pancakes, california skillet..all very good. They were fairly busy for a Friday morning.. help wanted sign like most other places now.
Three employees standing behind register doing absolutely nothing. Restaurant full of customers not wearing masks. Would not seat us due to our 93 year old family member unable to wear a mask over her nose. We obviously walked out and we were not only welcomed by a nearby restaurant but they were happy to accommodate our family member. Shameful service!!!
