When we walked in there was a slight sewer smell; should have known that there was a problem because we were the only ones there and every other restaurant was busy - Father's Day and just after church. We waited over 20 minutes and finally checked on our order - two burritos - and it must have been sitting for awhile because it was luke warm at best. My wife took hers to the - manager? - and got no relief. The whole staff is incompetent and should not be left in charge of any service establishment. Don't bother to go here, it is terrible.
This Twister’s location has been by far the worst location in regards to service. Whoever owns this franchise doesn’t seem to see all of the one star reviews. He/she needs to work here themselves and train a team of managers to get this place running efficiently. Every time I come here I wait at least 20-45 minutes in drive thru. That is completely unacceptable by today’s standards. This store is in a great location but terribly run. An employee or two should not be running this place alone. To the owner: please get it together before you lose your business.
I like twisters, enjoy the food but man I was afraid I was going to loose my shoes! Floors were gross sticky. Not just at the coke machine but the entire floor. Wondered if they use the soda syrup to mop the floors with? Maybe to much cleaner in mop water or a mop head that needs to be changed? This is one of my pet peeves, sticky floor's!
Close to a couple hotels in Rio Rancho so it's easy to walk here. By 7:20 p.m. on a Sunday night, they were closing the lobby for indoor eating, but we were able to order and take it back to our hotel. The burritos were just OK. The staff was friendly. I mostly enjoyed the Breaking Bad signage. ?
I didnt know they make mini burritos now. My small hand is bigger then them.. idk what happened but twisters has gone down drain.. definitely not worth the money
Waited for 20 minutes in drive thru. We ordered cinnamon sugar sopapillas and they gave us these small burnt pieces. Didn’t look fresh at all we didn’t dare to eat those!! Bacon burrito literally had two small pieces of bacon. What a waste of money..
Don't eat there is you are a large family! Went this morning. We are a family of 6. Ordered 6 burritos. We were told that we should not be doing "large" orders unless it is ordering ahead. Called and spoke to the manager and she confirms that the General Manager wants all the customers to know this and only order ahead or not at all. The important part... 2 burritos were tiny, all 6 were terribly made and not like an actual Twisters burrito (we just moved from Alb - living across the street from a Twisters and we were expecting a great Twisters burrito)! Rio Rancho wants money to be spent here... but I will be traveling to spend my money in Albuquerque - were the employees and managers are nicer and they know how to actually make a burrito!
Usually ok, but brother went and bought a couple green Chile cheese burgers, the buns were stale and dry, brother didn't want to go and complain and ended up peeling dry parts off the bottom bun as it was mostly stale and dry, his burger was half bun and mostly mess. The quality of this location has dropped off like crazy. I'll be avoiding the location as much as I can going forward.The nachos for some reason also sucked. Should of been charged much less for this garbage. Don't serve me food, if you can't make food. McDonalds would of been better. I understand staff shortages, but I expect edible food, especially if I have to wait, at least get it right. Paid 8.50 for a burger and nachos, I got stale nachos, stale fries and a dry stale bun on my burger, why did I pay 8.50 for a single burger patty as that was the only edible portion. The last time I was this disappointed with a meal was getting food poisoning from golden coral.
Slow service. Took over 30 min with one car infront of me in the drive through. Didn’t know how to do my order. Very slow. Maybe two workers inside. Classic twisters is dead. Won’t be back to this location for a long time.
Had to change my review from 5 stars to 1 star. Food is always good but spent 30 minutes in the drive thru and never had my order taken. It is truly a shame that the service is so terrible. It used to have amazing service. Extremely slow and not worth the wait.
