Good, quick dining experience. Service is decent. Personally I would prefer more contact and my drink kept full.
A good place to go eat a birthday lunch. The lunch and sopapillas were good and a free dessert for my birthday.
2 years ago I gave a great review as the food was good last visit wife, me, and my 3 kids ate there no one liked it soda ( cokes were nasty) well took a fellow officer there with me today he hadn't been there for 3 years he too thought the food was nasty wasn't good at all plates were hot but food cold and cost was high it was no better than taco bell and to top off the high cost they no longer give military or first responder discount said they couldn't afford it
First time and it probably will not be the last time. Great food and great service.
First time customers! Wasn't disappointed. Seems like a very popular place to eat. Restaurant opened at 11am, we arrived 15 minutes early thinking they opened earlier, and a whole bunch of cars started pulling up. We lined up, and were let in at open. We were seated right away, and was helped by a team of friendly staff. Our server was Nicole and man was she Excellent! Fast, friendly and very capable of multi-tasking. The food was good, (hot and delicious.) We will be back!
One of my favorite lunch places. The food is great and the service is fast. Steve is the owner and he is super kind. Locally owned business and the business gives back to the community often. Can't ask for better than that. We have had several meals catered by Hot Tamales and it's always great ? if you read this review please click "like" it helps my feelings. Thanks
I visited Hot Tamales today and as always the food was excellent, but the front office service is the reason for my star rating. We walked in and were quoted 35 minutes to receive a seat. We were asked if we would like to wait at the restaurant, or go outside. We opted to go outside. We were given a buzzer and decided we could probably make it to the Dutch brothers coffee shop up the road. When we arrived back from the coffee to ask about our table and were told the buzzer only works in their parking lot (not mentioned previously) and that they had already buzzed us. The manager approached and quickly corrected the girl in the front when she started to act as if we were out of luck since we had missed the intial buzzer. They told us we'd be seated next... We waited as two other groups were seated before us. When it appeared they were going to seat a third large group, I got up and asked if we were still going to be seated. It caused a big uproar as the front staff had already told the other group they were getting a table, but they reluctantly seated us instead. After this happened all the staff had an attitude with us. After a bit the initial shock and awe seemed to wear off and the waitress was nice at least. I would probably give them another chance, but I'd hope that the front desk staff get some additional training.
We eat there fairly often it is pretty yummy. The staff is always affable and the prices are reasonable. It is unpretentious home cooking soul food New Mexico style. I would give it five stars but Mary and Tito’s is my five star bar.
We were asked by our hosts if we’d like to try some authentic food from Albuquerque (since we live in PA). We did, so they took us here! What great food! So, two days later, when we were on our own, we went back. Need I say more?
Absolutely delicious food, we went there on a last-minute decision. Best decision ever and the service is the best. Now, we plan to go back quite often, especially because it's so easily located off of 528 in Rio Rancho. I was so glad to find out that the Chile is HOT! The fajitas were excellent!
