My family and I went there for breakfast on Father’s Day because our favorite restaurants had long wait times. The empty parking area should have been enough to keep us away. However, we had eaten here before (not breakfast) and enjoyed it. The breakfast selections were limited and the quality was substandard. We ordered chilaquiles with carnitas, the breakfast plate, pancakes and huevos rancheros. The bill was higher than we would normally pay for much better food. Don’t waste your money. There are much better options for good food that are less expensive.
Best Mexican food in Rio Rancho. Javier's family recipes are delicious. I always have to stop for chicharonnes or barbacoa when I'm on the westside. The patio is one of my favorite places to lounge with a beer in the summers, especially if the batting cages are open.
Well this was worst food we've had in years. Im sorry I hate to hurt someone's feelings. I ordered #3 Enciladas red with beef. The chili was orange. It tasted like can tortilla soup. The beans were just as bad. The beef in tacos looked like and tasted like awful ground turkey. The gorditas are far from traditional. We couldn't finish our meal seriously. I ordered coffee then i had to request cream and sugar never offered a refill. Wanted to go back at some point and try some beers. Nope won't return. Hot Tamales has never let us down. If you aren't from New Mexico you might like it. I had Spanish food in Hobbs that was horrible. But had to say this was worse. Good luck as I hate to see business suffer. My gosh you tube can show you how to make red chili or anything else for that matter.
The food was very good with a large selection and they have a large selection of their on premise brewed beers.
Not the same food there Chile was not there refried beans tasted burned, terrable wheat happen to this change, my guest also notice the change not expecting to go back again, people notice
I was really pleased at the selection of beers and the food was really good. More people should patronize Cazuela's. It's a hidden gem.
Service was amazing! Was my first time here and I needed a bit more help with my experience but I liked the friendliness so much I had to go with 5 stars. Service was quick! I've never been so satisfied with service in a long time. The food was awesome I had the taco plate. Everything tasted great! Definitely recommend this place to family and friends. I'll be coming by again for sure!

I remember this place used to be so good. It has TOTALLY gone downhill. Poor service. Food wasn’t great as well.
Lunched there last week. Many items on the menu unavailable. I ordered Green Chile Stew and my wife ordered Quesadilla. The Green Chile stew was a thin gruel with potato slices floating and some chewy unidentifiable pieces meat through it, it wasn't stew nor Chile. The Quesadilla was of the same standard - poor. If you are going to serve food in this difficult times please do it well or not at all. A really bad experience in a restaurant I've visited only a couple of times, if you wish returning customers you need to do better than this.
