Came in around lunch time and most varieties of bagels were sold out, so we tried two other bagels I would not normally order. Also ordered and paid for a sub but then was told they didn’t have the meat to make that sub. Substituted for a different sub (the New Yorker which was recommended by the cashier). When I got home I realized one of the bagels they gave me was the wrong one. The vinaigrette they put on the sub tasted like generic Italian dressing and was not good. The bread for the sub was very mediocre and disappointing. I was born in the New York area and in my opinion this restaurant should not have NY in the name because it is not authentic food. Chains like Jersey Mike’s and Einstein’s bagels are even better than this place****UPDATE and response to owner****You claimed I was offered the choice to wait for more Turkey to be roasted but that is not true; your employee only offered me the choice of a refund or a different sandwich. Also, you should reread my review. I never said the cashier chose a replacement for me, I simply said he RECOMMENDED the New Yorker. The fact that I went to your restaurant shows that I do care about supporting local business. It’s quite unfortunate that your sub bread lacked quality, your vinaigrette had a weak flavor, and also that your employee gave me the wrong type of bagel (ordered sesame, received a plain one). As I stated in my original review, it is my opinion that you should not use NY your name because the food I received was laughable compared to authentic New York cuisine.

The sandwich was phenomenal! The bagels were another story. They were hard as rock the next morning, we kept them in the original package and placed in the microwave overnight. I guess they need to be held in the fridge to make it thru the night. The business was willing to replace them but not until 0830 the next morning. Unfortunately their opening hours didn't work for me, which was why I wanted them the night before, I'm at work before they even open. My advice would be to go to a bakery that's open early for your bagels but definitely give these guys a try on their sandwiches, Yummy!**After picking up some fresh replacement bagels, I've changed the post to 5 star. They bagels and sub were fantastic thank you for working with me so I can try them out.
Oh my gosh. I just ate at this place for the very first time 2 days ago. I drive past this place at least once a week and I've been meaning to stop in for the last several YEARS but never did (just kept forgetting). A friend mentioned to me how good this place was a few days back and I decided that's it I have to go to this place NOW. So I finally stopped by and got the Chipotle Panini. I took one bite and I about passed out it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! And the banana peppers give it that little extra kick to perfection!!! I can't wait to try everything else on their menu!!!!!! YUMMY!!!!
Excellent sandwiches piled high with meats. This is my 4 visit as I'm currently working my way through the menu. Excellent Reubens with quality cuts, super solid Cubanos, and pulled pork, too. I will post again in 6 months as I tackle some more subs.

Been craving a Cuban sandwich for a while and my search lead me to here. Once I took a bite out of that sandwich I felt very nostalgic and along with the customer service, my experience was very pleasant. Can't wait to comeback!
Born and raised in NY, these bagels and cc are the real deal. Freshly made everyday authentic boiled bagels. Run, don't walk here.We also had sandwiches that were amazing. Breads are fresh baked and meats are roasted in house.A great taste of home on NM.
