This used to be one of my favorite sushi places when it first opened up! I'd sing their praises to my family and friends All the time! And now I'm just so incredibly disappointed. The prices have gone up exponentially, so if you order through GrubHub or any other ordering service, you're paying that as well as the inflated prices on top of a fee. They have refused their own coupons at least twice from me. And to top it of, I tried to order today and they were somehow out for the day of my order. Nothing about having need to restock. They're just out for the day. They just opened. And the "replacement" they offered would have been cheaper if I ordered a bowl. So I don't think I'll be ordering from them anymore unless I see their prices become more affordable or there's an increase of quality.
I visited this restaurant for the first time. I ordered POKI BOUL, but before ordering I asked if the tuna was frozen or raw. The employee said it was raw tuna. It looked like frozen tuna, so when I reconfirmed it, He definitely said it was raw tuna. However, as soon as I ate a bite, I realized that it was a frozen tuna. I ate something other than tuna and threw it away. I wanted to complain to an employee, but he doesn't come out behind the backyard. It is a crime to lie about ingredients in a restaurant.
Delicious, clean, excellent customer service. I got the New Mexican sushi roll, I loved it. Great selection of sparkling water. I would come back again.
This is by far the BEST Sushi Freak we have visited!!! We drive an hour just for this restaurant. They take pride in everything they make & are the friendliest employees ANYWHERE!!!! We have never had a bad experience or bad service as many times as we have made the trip up to Las Cruces for Sushi Freak (nothing else). These employees all need a raise!
I like the sushi. I’ve eating from here about 3-4 times but every time I call to place an order they never answer the phone. It’s frustrating. You’d think in today’s day an age with kids being on their cellphone 24/7 they’d all run to the phone as soon as it rings. Maybe it because now a days kids are a afraid of confrontation and would rather text. Maybe hire someone between the age of 28-40? Someone that grew up with a landline to just answer the phones. Thanks.
I have been into sushi freak many times. I have always considered getting a burrito, but today I did it. And I swear to you I always thought it sounded ridiculous, but it is SO, GOOOD! highly recommend you try one...
Wasn’t the best quality sushi I’ve ever tasted but you can make it your own, pretty inexpensive and fast. It’s a sushi assembly line which I thought was really cool, never seen one like that.
I’ve never written a bad review, or even a review at all, but this is a joke!! I paid por double avocado DOUBLE, and asked for cream cheese.. are you kidding me?? Hahaha I can’t even be mad this is sooooo silly! I’ve been a costumer for the longest time, but this is the first time I did my order online.. So yeah, with that been said, judge for yourself. Don’t do dirty to your costumers, I really liked this place, but this is insulting.
I don't like to see mean things about places but this place was absolutely disgusting food wise. The people were very nice and the restaurant clean. Imagine yourself going to Subway and that is how your sushi is prepared everything is just pre-cut pre-made and stale. Again, I'm sorry to say it was quite awful and disgusting.
Good counter staff courteous and helpful. Prices were OK. Sushi rolls were ok, rice was a bit dry. I'd go back for takeout. FYI, spent a lot of time in Japan, sushi rice is sticky and an art.
