very clean.friendly staff.food was delicious! and reasonably priced! highly recommended and I give them 5 stars!
Clean and very nice atmosphere. Food was very good and we had a complimentary sopapilla for dessert. Our server was friendly and personable and attentive to us. Great place. Sorry we don’t live in the area cause we’d eat there often.
If you are in the area and you are jonesing for New Mexican food, you should try this place. It has a bigger than life Mexican restaurant feel to it. It is spacious and well appointed. The chips and salsa they serve when you are seated is honestly the best I have ever had. They give you 4 different types of salsa and they just keep shoveling the chips in your basket. the salsas were out of this world! I had the combo platter which was awesome and my wife had the shrimp tacos which she really enjoyed. The service was prompt, courteous and friendly. I would give 6 stars if I could.
The restaurant is large and airy. We had a small wait but I would consider it within reason. The service was very friendly. The food was hot and good, but had very little spice. It was typical New Mexican cuisine that we've come to expect.
Great atmosphere, great fajita salad and beer was cold…. Lady next to me at the bar who brought the kids and left them at a table with coloring books should be ashamed of herself
Let me start by saying I love Mexican food. We have been to so many Mexican restaurants in our travels, this is my new favorite!! We have bern in New Mexico for several days and tried several "Mexican Restaurant" the food is bland until now. Si Senor, YES YES YES!! Home run! The place was packed inside and out (Always a good sign) we had a sort wait, staff was fantastic, Restaurant very clea food was outstanding!! Packed with flavor!! Even the rice and beans are full of flavor. I wish we had one of these in Orange County, CA
This place is very hit or miss on service and food quality. It is definitely not as good as it used to be. They now charge you for drink refills to start with. The salsa is typically very watery and bland as if they added water to everything to stretch it out further. They usually give you four different salsa/dips, but a lot of times they are out of one, and they got our order wrong....AGAIN!! We ordered green chile con carne with the combination plate...they brought us red. I ordered the ceviche tostadas because they are usually ok...they were covered in mayonnaise. Not sure what that was about. They have never came out like that before. The best part of the entire meal was the raspberry ice tea. So after scraping all the red chile off of one plate and mayo off of the other, we attempted to eat. We couldn't even hold a conversation due to four screaming children that were sat right next to us throwing food and utensils. We finally had enough, asked for our check, and left. Horrible service, horrible atmosphere, very disappointed in the food.
One of the best Mexican restaurants around our area. Don’t be surprised if you have to wait, because this place is always busy, which I see as a great indication of the quality and service. The food speaks for itself, because no matter what you get, it’s going to be delicious. I will admit the price is a bit high, but I enjoyed my experience. The waiter was incredibly attentive, checked on us frequently, and provided insight. The manager even walked around to check on tables, clear dishes, and offer refills on beverages. I honestly haven’t seen service this satisfying in a while considering the struggles we all have witnessed with COVID. Lastly, I say, be careful with the complimentary chips and salsa… they are highly addictive and may cause you to get full prematurely! Enjoy your meal, and enjoy the experience, because it’s a classic in Cruces!
Exelent and fast service,I had red pork pozole. My companion had chicken tacos salad, big portion delicious and healthy ??
We enjoy the food and the atmosphere of this restaurant. There is a working fountain in the middle of one of the dining areas. Red chili, green chili, both good. I like their beans. Chili cheese fries were a hit with my family. My daughter loved her flautas. The chimichanga is big enough that my hubby only ate half. Good tacos, gorditas, enchiladas, beans and rice. We've liked everything we've ordered. The chips and salsa has 4 kinds of salsa. Many meals come with a sopapilla too.I will say the acoustics of the place makes everything echo. When we go it is always busy. If you go with someone who is hearing impaired be prepared for louder speaking and more lip reading.
