The staff is always friendly and they are quick to get orders out to you nice and hot.
really disappointed. i waited around thirty minutes before leaving without even being spoken to. one of the staff kept running across to the chinese gourmet and back without even acknowledging me and the people in front of me. the other was making up orders but kept running back and forth the the back (not bringing back anything just kinda running). now i get it, i work in the food industry as well but this is horrible customer service. very disappointed and even more so to see that i’m not the only one this has happened to. i didn’t even go on a weekend or anything, i went on a tuesday evening. i ended up going across the way to the chinese gourmet and got some food there.
Food is great. Excellent service.

Waited in line for 30 minutes for the server to actively ignore me and speak to the lady behind me.
Ordered the beef and shrimp and a cup of Miso soup. Made to order (spicy) and the food was delicious!

Unbelievably slow and miserable ☹️ The staff didn't acknowledge you, barely enough to place an order. They never said anything about a 30 minutes early either. I had to ask for my money back after waiting 30 minutes for an order of teriyaki chicken. While I was waiting by the cash register for the cashier to come back, i realize she keeps going across the hall to the Chinese restaurant with 3 to-go containers at a time, borrowing food and bringing it back in the to-go boxes and then serving it up to her customers. I couldn't believe i watched it all. I feel like it is very simple, if i wanted Chinese food i would have gone to the restaurant nextdoor in the first place. This is supposed to be japanese. Not real sure of the difference but it's the principle of the situation.
Stopped in at 5:20pm and was told they are no longer taking orders. They close at 6 !!! Said because they needed to clean up . Had a few people in line waiting to order .. worst service ever !!!!!
