Staying in Las Cruces for the night and found this place on Trip Advisor. What a great find! We were greeted by the owner and he visited until our table was ready. Our waiter was busy but he acknowledged us and didn't take long to take our drink order. The owner came back around and made some dish recommendations, which we followed. My husband had the clam linguini and I had the chicken breast with alfredo. Both were excellent and everything was homeade. The busser also checked on us and was very friendly and commented on my husband's hat. When we were finished, the other owner came around and asked how everything was and we had a great conversation. Everyone was family and they were all amazing! This restaurant is definitely a must, from the atmosphere to the food to the family who runs it!
While this is not the best Italian we've ever had, for Las Cruces, it is the best. I really enjoyed the Green Chile Lasagna, the sauce really melds nicely with the filling. My husband thought the Tour of Rome was really good, too.The Sicilian Flatbread is tasty when dipped in some olive oil and parmesan located at the end of the table.We will definitely be back, God willing.Sorry about the photos, we had already started eating, so portion size is inaccurate. ?

We took it to go and loved it! The Fire Roasted Tomato Soup was delicious and everything else too!Went back for my Birthday and picked up spaghetti and meatballs with sausage and green chile soup. Yummy!
Great Italian restaurant with very friendly staff and delicious food. It is located right off the freeway so it’s a great place to eat while in a road trip. Definitely coming here again next time I’m in New Mexico.
Food was very good. Service was great. Our server was very attentive. Not often do I give 5 star to a restaurant. Will be coming back.
Visited Lorenzo's Italian Restaurant. Overall The Service And Atmosphere Was Great And Friendly. The Service Was Quick And Excellent. The Spaghetti Dinner Was Hot And Delicious Really Good Portions. The Bread Was So Awesome. The Only Issue Was That The Meatballs Were Sweet And Had Raisins In Them Not A Good Parring In My Opinion Still A Great Dinner Will Be Going Back.
From the moment we arrived at Lorenzo’s it was clear the place was very popular! We were walk in’s and received a warm welcome, and shown to a table within minutes. We were lucky to get the table as the restaurant was very busy. All the staff were fantastic, they have got running the place nailed. Our server was very efficient and friendly, gave us some recommendations on wine and starters. The water was always full and empty plates taken away quickly. Then there was the food, I can safely say the hatch chilli lasagne is the best lasagne I have ever had! And I have had a lot of lasagnas from all over the world. My husband had pizza which he was very happy with, the wine was also very reasonably priced and good. I have nothing but great things to say about this place, a very well oiled machine with fantastic food! The fact it is always busy shows just how good it is. Can highly recommend and would certainly return! Thanks Lorenzo’s!
Awesome!!! I'm from the New York City area and I usually compare restaurants to those that I went to in New York City. It's hard to find restaurants that come close. Well, this restaurant came close. I had the scallops, which were huge and succulent and I had rigatoni with pesto sauce on the side. It was delicious. I started out with an artichoke cream soup. I forget the exact name of the soup, but it was great. The service was good and quick. Thank you Lorenzo's.
