Came to Las Cruces for a business trip. I have no idea if this is a good Sonora hot dog or not. But it tastes amazing! Loaded fries are awesome too. I'm amazed at how good it was and the very fair price. Wish this food truck was in my home town. Would eat at again.Edit: The owner is awesome, I got some dessert at the end that I dont know how to spell (boneullo sp?). They're awesome like a light crispy tortilla churro.
Very creative twist on hot dogs. Food was amazing and fresh made to order. Tables with shade and sun. Lalo is a great owner and very friendly. 5/5 highly recommend.
Super fresh ingredients, very friendly staff that was able to give us an overview of the menu and answer questions! We had a Dozer Dog, Dogzilla and an order of the loaded fries and they were so delicious! The fries are ? the best I've ever had, hands down! So savory with the perfect amount of seasoning, meat and toppings ?
A must-try food truck in Las Cruces! Food is great, affordable with excellent service! Sonora dog and asada tacos were both delicious. Try it, you won't be disappointed. ??
Great little find! Had the Vaqueros, Dozer, Sonora, and Dogzilla. All were amazing. My favorite was the Dogzilla, sauce is fire. Had to splurge on the asada fries as well. Definitely recommend for a substantial (and very reasonably priced) bite to eat. Wish I had photos but we were too hungry and they were too good!
Growing up in Tucson where Sonoran style dogs are everywhere, I’m a Sonoran style hot dog fanatic. After moving to the area recently, I of course was looking to find my fix of Sonoran style dogs. I did a quick google search and this is one of the only places that showed up. So I plugged it in to my GPS last night and drove the hour from home to check it out.It was a little hard to find especially in the dark (I passed it 3 different times) but boy was it WORTH it! This IS THE PLACE! My husband and I had just walked up and were standing there staring at the menu, when the guy running the stand came out and greeted us with a huge smile and explained the menu.As is my typical style when trying a new place to eat, I ALWAYS start with something I’m familiar with so I can judge how much I like it and if I’m willing to come back. I ordered 3 Sonoran style dogs and 2 cokes.It was by and far the best Sonoran style dog I’ve ever had. The buns were the super fresh and the best I’ve had (potato brioche?) the hot ingredients were hot and cooked to perfection, the cold ingredients were ice cold and fresh, and the sauces lovely. The guy was super friendly and even comped us probably the best fries (perfectly spiced) I’ve ever had and at the end brought us out some cinnamon and sugar dusted fresh cooked tortilla chips.Just AMAZING food and fantastic experience. We will DEFINITELY make this a regular stop!
Fresh ingredients, homemade sauces, fluffy delicious bread, and friendly service make this place a winner. Affordable prices, creative specials! Had an Elote Doggo a few weeks ago ? all the toppings were so flavorful I finished them with a fork. Kinda fun how messy they get by the time you're halfway through. Grab some napkins! Stopped by for the first time today and I'm glad I did! The owner was super nice and laid back. As it was my first visit, he came out of the truck and explained the entire menu, talked about each dog, and even told me a little about why they do certain combinations. Very interesting. He went back in the truck and gave me time to decide on my order.I ordered the Sonora Dog and Asada fries and boy howdy was it amazing! The dog with it's toppings was such a great mix of flavors that blended so well together. And the fries?! By far THE BEST Asada fries I have ever had the pleasure of shoving into my face! Their green salsa is flavorful, has good heat and pairs perfectly with those fries. He even threw in an order of Buñuelos, which were a great way to end the meal.I will definitely be back. I plan to try everything on the menu at least once. Guaranteed. (Dozer Dog, I'm coming for you!)
Great Food, & Great Customer Service! If you have not tried this food truck you are definitely missing out. I highly recommend you check them and give a try I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
