The pizza crust is like no other. So delicious and the toppings are fresh. Serive was good. Toasted ravioli with red sauce is so yummy. Chicken and waffles was good. The waffle was awesome.
I saw an ad mention this place and decided to give it a try as I love Italian. I really wish I had never seen the advert! Every single aspect of the visit was horrible. The food was not good, it smelled like it had gone off. I made the mistake of trying a bite anyway and it was so sour! I'm not sure if it was the cheese or the sauce but, my goodness, it was horrible! We paid our bill, even though we couldn't stomach much, and ran out, as the smell was beginning to get to both of us and we didn't want to bother the poor server as they seemed to be having a bad day and we didn't want to make it worse.Once we returned home, I decided to look at other reviews and now I wish I could turn back time and check those before we went! It looks like not only are we not the only ones to have the bad experience, the owner's replies certainly seals the deal! He is as sour as that horrible glob he passes off as 'food'!
Very disappointed with first visit here! Made reservations for 8 and waiter was persistent that we sit at high rise table when 3 women in the group were in there 70’s and one had a cane. We just wanted a low regular booth or table. I had to push two tables together for him. They were out of napkins! Service was not fast and we told him we wanted the checks split 3 ways while we were ordering and at the end brought it as one so he could get the large group 20% gratuity! When leaving went to the bathroom and was very dirty and there was no soap in dispenser…. Likely their employees don’t wash their hands after using bathroom!! Not impressed!!
Loved it! Service was great and the owner is so nice! Food was good and the DJ helped the atmosphere rise to a sweet level with his music. Definitely going back!
Exceptional cuisine well plated. Fresh ingredients. A uniquely inspired fusion of classic Italian and southwestern New Mexico flavor. Excellent service from personable wait staff. Reasonably sized portions at fair prices. The restaurant's ambiance adds to the dining experience.
My friends took me there for my birthday. Food was just okay; however, Nick (bartender/server) made the evening a completely bad experience. He was rude and his customer service was beyond unprofessional. I could go into detail but, suffice it to say Nick is in the wrong business. My friends and I collectively agreed this would be our last visit.
The new lady who brought us water was a sweetheart, and very helpful. The kid who brought us our food was ok. He smiled at the older people more then us. I had a calzone and it was delicious.
Decided to try this restaurant for the first time, even though the reviews are mixed. Sometimes you just can’t believe everything you read. My experience was this: my husband and I arrived at the restaurant at 7:15pm. We stood at the door for about 5 minutes as there was a sign requesting we wait to be seated. There were no other customers in the restaurant. There didn’t appear to be any employees either. We were about to leave, when someone popped their head out from the side of the curtain that hangs partially in the center of a pass-through next to the entry door, and asked if there were going to be 2 of us. This man disappeared back behind the curtain, then came out around the bar and told us to sit in one of the booths by the wall.We sat down, and soon another young man came by and poured water and said he would be our server. He showed us how to access the menu with our phones and walked away. A few minutes later, he came back to take our drink order, and before he ran off again, we ordered the mussels with white wine sauce as an appetizer. Our server was apparently new, and not familiar with the menu, as he didn’t seem to realize that the appetizer could be ordered with either a red sauce or white sauce. Not a problem, he figured it out after a few moments.Once the mussels arrived, our waiter dropped them off with 2 plates and disappeared. We didn’t have silverware, napkins, nor a serving spoon. We had to get up to go find utensils, and finally located some near the bar. The mussels were quite tasty, but the white wine sauce was a bit too vinegary from either the olives or a bit too much lemon. Regardless, it was still enjoyable. The dish was served with 2 small slivers of garlic toast. I only wish there had been more bread, as the sauce is great when dipped with bread. Had to get up again, to try to find our server so we could ask for more bread. It was now starting to get a little irritating to have to keep hunting for our server when we were the only ones in the entire restaurant. For our entrees, we ordered the Green Chile Chicken Alfredo, and the sausage calzone. Both dishes were disappointing. The chicken in the Alfredo tasted as if it had been undercooked, and had never been seasoned. The sauce was also bland, under salted, and watery. The pasta was cooked perfectly though. The calzone was equally underwhelming. The crust was thin and extremely crispy. The cheese was dry and hardly any sausage to be found. The marinara sauce was also overcooked, dry and lacking flavor. Again, we had to hunt down our server once again to ask for salt and pepper. All in all, our experience wasn’t the greatest, the service could have been better, seeing as we were the only diners in the restaurant, and the food was nothing worth raving about.
I was disappointed as the Deming location had been highly recommended by friends for our trip from Houston to Phoenix. Alas, it has closed and we went to the new one in Las Cruces. There is no paper menu, only on your phone, which means prices can and do change daily. There is no pasta section on the menu. Special was all you can eat spaghetti and meat sauce, which is what I wanted anyway and a very reasonable price, even for my eating only only 3/4 of the serving and did not get any additional. The sauce had too much dried oregano - maybe it hadn’t cooked enough to blend everything together. The salad bar had bagged romaine lettuce (I could smell the preservatives - I realize not everyone can and this would not be a turnoff), the tomatoes were very cold and had no flavor (since we were there just as the restaurant opened and there were only a few in the bottom of pan, I suspect they were left from the previous night (prepped but not put on on buffet) - they would have done better to use them in sauces). My friend had the fried fish. She said it was okay and liked the pasta salad that came with it. I guess I should have stayed with the award winning food items.
The food gave me food poisoning and I felt horrible the rest of the night. The wait staff would ignore our table and when I explained that there was an issue with my food I was told that it was “how the Italians did it.” The atmosphere wasn’t much and the music was far too loud. Not worth the price and definitely not worth the stomachache I had hours after.
