Good food and service. Was looking forward to a Margherita, but there is wine based. The white sangria was good.
I ordered gorditas…the salsa that came with the basket of blue and white corn tortilla chips was delicious. My waitress Marin was very friendly, flexible and attentive.
The tacos and gorditas had a good flavor without having too much spices which left room for people to chilli it up to taste. The gorditas were nice crispy and held together when bitting into it. The relleno plate had just the right amount of chilli spice to let you know that you were chilli and not grass like in other places
Delicious!! So happy we happened upon this restaurant! Excellent service & great food, good pricing too! We would definitely eat here again!
Used to enjoy eating at El Sombrero back in my college days. Stopped in this evening and was sadly disappointed. The green chile was horrible! Not green chile at all, rather a bland queso sauce. The salsa at the beginning of the meal was the only redeeming aspect of the meal.
Food was okay but the service was rushed. We were told a male would be our server, then no one come to get drinks until we asked, the server that sat us told us, "that he was busy and she was waiting to leave." She continued to help us but kept mentioning that she was busy with side work because she wasn't our server but will get our drinks and order.She took our order and ignored us. We didn't get more chips and asked 3 people, finally the girl, "not our sever, stated that there was no plates/bowls to give us more."We ate fast, paid and left a 20% tip but still not sure who will get the tip.We will not be going back.
Will not be back. They were not busy, empty tables inside & out on the patio. We waited as we were passed by 8 times before I ASKED for our server. Hostess came by and hastily put down the chips & dips, did not mention the daily specials as she did to a table that sat after us. Our server seemed to be preoccupied, brought out wrong plates. Food was over cooked. Again I had to ask some to get the server just to get refills and again to pay to leave. Unfortunately there is nothing positive to say.
As of 2/25/2022 the posted times on Google maps is wrong they close at 8pm. But the positive is we showed up at 7:45 they still sat is and served us dinner. Enjoyed very much.
I just saw a review that described our experience exactly. Rude waitress after my husband asked what she recommended she spoke so fast we didn't understand then she felt he took to long to order and said "I'll come back" and walked away. Then when we did order our food arrived luke warm. We had to ask for a refill on our tea which was a bother as well. The only thing she was happy about was the tip, which she didn't deserve. She was wearing a turquoise shirt. We won't be back either.
Food was great service even better. Hadn’t been there in years since before I moved out of town. I got the Chicken Tampico and it was delicious!
