WOW! We had an excellent appetizer & meals ! I had the pistachio pesto pasta & added grilled chicken to it… 10+ stars! It was so flavorful and creamy and the pistachios gave a nice little crunch the chicken was cooked perfectly, while topped with a little bit of sun-dried tomatoes- it was the best I’ve ever had in my life! I got a container to take half of it home, but I couldn’t stop eating it! My husband had the meatloaf with the mashed potatoes and vegetables which was also good but a little spicy for his taste (he can’t tolerate any spice). The caprese app, had a beautiful appearance & perfect amount of tomatoes and especially the little tiny ones( which I don’t know what they were) ! I had the flight of 3 samples of wine. By far the more robust Cabernet was my favorite. It was a 35 minute wait so we just ate at the bar, with no wait.

We arrived on a rainy Wednesday evening to find a packed house. They found us a table for two. Our server was personable and well informed. We each had a different flight of wine so got to taste 8 wines, plus the bonus sparkling wine taste of that evening. I had the ceviche and my husband had the meatloaf. We enjoyed our meals and the wines.

We lucked in to Lescombes Bistro in Las Cruces after a long day on the road through Texas. Food was wonderful and we liked the idea of a flight of wine to allow sampling with dinner. Brownie sundae accompanied by a glass of their port wine was really, really good. Prices were attractive for the quality of food and service

Really pretty place with nice staff. The young piano player gentleman was amazing, he had a great selection of music from Bocelli,Il Divo, Josh Groban, etc. and he played them all absolutely beautifuly. The food was good and they had some nice wines as well.

I think this is a younger sibling of D.H. Lescombes in Albuquerque. Being familiar with the one in ABQ, we had certain expectations. They did not disappoint. I had the grilled salmon, it was very good. Swapped out the rice for yukon gold mashed potatoes, yum! Very much enjoyed a glass of their Chardonnay to go with it. My husband had the Southwest Meatloaf and was extremely happy with it. Kept repeating how much he liked it, which is very unusual for him. Creme Brulee was excellent. Service was excellent!

We celebrated a birthday dinner recently at Lescombes. I must admit we were taken back when told by the hostess that it would be a 45 minutes wait at 4:00 PM. We did not have a reservation and was told that they were completely booked for the evening. We elected to wait and sat at a booth in the bar area. No one came to ask us if we would like to order a drink. Up until then we were not impressed with how they treated their customers. About 10 minutes later another hostess asked if we would like to eat in the booth or dining room. We were amazed that we did not have to wait the 45 minutes. Entering the dining room we saw at least 10 tables were empty. Meagann was our server and we could not have asked for better service. She was pleasant, professional and concerning. Our party ordered the Pastachio Pesto Pasta, Hand-Cut Ribeye, Red Chile Colorado, French Onion Soup and Mac& Cheese Bites. The food was okay, but Meagann made up for it with her personality. Suggestion: Make Reservation before so you will not get the runaround when you arrive.

It is Number one restaurant in Alamagordo and I can see why. Good ambiance, good food and great wine. Well prepared meals (if you like a bit of spice, go for the New Mexican meatloaf) and appetizers and salads are well done. The pecan vinaigrette on a salad is very tasty! Our server, Elliot was a joy!

This is an excellent place for wine tastings and charcuterie, meals, desserts, weddings and events of any size. The wine is awesome, the ambiance is great and the staff is professional and freindly. We joined the wine club on our first visit. This is AWESOME!

This was said to be a top U.S. restaurant. We were skeptical. As it turned out it was not an exaggeration. Food was on par with some of the best restaurants I have been to. Appetizers were outstanding. The fried calamari were tender and done perfectly. All items we ordered were done just right. And the staff was professional and very nice. Outdoor dining is available and accommodates dogs. Prices were quite moderate for this dinning experience.

Beautiful restaurant for a nice dinner. Menu selection is nice—something for everyone. The meatloaf was fabulous. Two nice slices that were grilled individually, tender and flavorful. The mango chipotle glaze was genius on it! The pecan crusted chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. I couldn’t decide which wine to try so the wine flight was the way to go. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable.
