Just the Las Cruces breakfast experience I was hoping to have. Sitting outside on a 70 degree May morning, hearing the bees collecting pollen and enjoying a flavor packed Red Pork Colorado plate with great pinto beans and fresh tortilla was just what my brain envisioned.
My daughter and I are very new to Mesilla and heard about Cafe de Mesilla through social media, so we decided to check it out. What a cute place. Has that New Mexico charm. The food was wonderful. Props to the chef! Customer service was not to bad. Though we did notice the treatment with us and others who are probably "regulars " was a little different. Other then that, still a pretty cool place to check out. The food is Amazing and you won't be disappointed.
Coming from out of town the reviews did this place justice! I had the juevos rancheros with red sauce and homemade tortillas. My friend had the vegan juevos rancheros with green chili sauce. Both were great portions, and the flavor was authentic and delicious. The service was prompt and courteous. Definingly a good local find.
Very! Very! Good! I like it and the service was awesome and our waiter he was great! And the red and green chili wasn’t hot so for people that are a wimp like me can taste it for flavor and place is beautiful too .
We stopped in for breakfast and had eggs, potatoes, toast, and the Mesilla Monte Cristo sandwich. Both were prepared well, served quickly and hot. The latte I ordered, however, seemed watery and lacked flavor so I would not order that again. With such a great menu, service, food and pleasant seating, I'm willing to bet there is a coffee drink there that I will enjoy and I would definitely go back again.
Atmosphere and food are outstanding. Friendly service. A really nice place. It’s become a favorite of ours.
This place is a hidden gem. They have an amazing brunch menu with a boutique feel! I got the Huevos rancheros and the red sauce was delicious. The outdoor patio was great during the nice weather time and also dog friendly if you want to bring your pup. The owner Joyce was kind along with our server Galen ?Glad we found this place?
I am vegan, my husband is not. We had a wonderful breakfast here. There is a lovely patio, the service is friendly and there is lots of art to enjoy. We both had specials. My husband loved his pork burrito and I had a skillet with fresh spinach, potatoes and mushrooms. Great food.
DELICIOUS FOOD. GREAT SERVICE. UNIQUE.This little nook in the wall New Mexico Cafe has a little bit of everything wrapped into a tiny little unique package. Overview: Big open space outdoor patio, cool little gift area, and a couple small and cozy little dining areas inside.The menu (see images) circa early 2022 is affordable considering the fresh and whole food you receive and the old Mesilla feel that you get to experience. The lady who helped me was so kind, funny and easy to interact with.Side note: The historic mesilla plaza is a short 5 minute walk from this restaurant.
We came for brunch after reading reviews. The service was great. We noticed Las Cruces is very underrated when it comes to customer service - honestly a hidden treasure. The food was good, but listen y’all , I made a mistake. I ordered a cup of red pork pozole when I should have ordered a bowl. It was beyond magical. One could have this as a last meal and probably die happy. Do yourself a favor and come in for an ice cold Coke and a bowl of pozole… You won’t regret it! :)
