almost always delicious but this time at this location left a lot to be desired we come down from phoenix az and only food on our mind when we do is blakes unfortunately this time our food disappointed us my wifes burger was raw inside and i am unsure of mine as i was super hungry and ate it quick the restaurant was not super packed and i was in no hurry for my food so i do not understand what the problem was only guesses would be laziness, ignorance, or straight up carelessness whatever the reason i will be weary of this blakes in the future.
Absolutely awesome staff and great wines and pistachios. James was a charming and charismatic tour guide and overall a great team of people working there.
They need better people running this place. They are over charging people & they are not trained properly. The girl at the register couldn’t even get our order correct and then when I told the guy about it he tried charging me 10$ for FRIES! & when I asked the fries are ten dollars he said yeah! These kids are running this business down to the ground. The food wasn’t even that great they messed up the entire order.
When you want the flavor of a "real burger"! Have it with the Hatch Chili. OMG! You can add chili to the small size too. They have awesome shakes and seasoned fries too. Yum!
It's really clean in front and back of the house! And I should know I'm a real clean freak!? PLUS the food is Delicious! Friendly service. O Man and the green chili so good! Thanks for still having business all these yrs. It's a childhood restaurant for me???
I always get takeout now because cleanliness is legit dicey. Food’s still good. They’re busy behind the counter, but pretty inconsistent in paying attention to order details. Increasingly finding I’m paying for little extras like salsa and coming home to find I’m not getting them. Uncool.
Their burgers are legendary (historical really - they've been in business since the 50's I believe). They are THE ORIGINAL green chile cheeseburger that STARTED it all! Now, they even have their own uniquely grown and bred Hatch Green Chile strain (it took Hatch 8 years to develop). All their locations have the diner feel encapsulated with fast food, with non-fast food meals (better than just normal "fast food". EVERYTHING on their menu is great. Multiple locations. You will love the food, I am sure.
Great food & service. I love how everything is always super temp hot. Both locations seem super consistent in flavor & service. Favorite burger in the area for sure.

Still one of the best places in Las Cruces to get a burger that melts in your mouth with some of the best seasoned fries as well. Typical no "thrills and frills" semi fast food restaurant. If you eat there enough you'll get a day or two of bad service but I've mostly had good experiences.FOOD SUGGESTION: Double meat with cheese, green chili, and seasoned fries.PRO TIP: Double check for sides you purchased (whole jalapeño, brownie, etc) before leaving.
