Delicious breakfasts at very reasonable prices with very helpful and friendly staff. They have also licensed local native to come in and sell their jewelry which is a very enjoyable experience. This is a must stop if you are in Gallup.

We love this restaurant; in fact we plan our travel around having dinner here! The food was wonderful! We both ordered the Supreme Combo, consisting of: cheese enchilada, stuffed Sopapillas (much like a Chile relleno), beans (delicious btw), rice, also yummy, a crisp beef taco and a fry bread and Sopapillas with honey! Their service is quick, efficient and it is more than welcoming! An added plus is the Native American craftsmen who very unobtrusively wander by and allow you to preview their work, stopping if you indicate interest, not so if you are not. This establishment has been around many years, it’s a family establishment and the Family is present and very hospitable. We certainly enjoyed our visit with Mrs Evie, and our waitress, Krisha, was a delight.

We drive out West from Tennessee to hike the Grand Canyon at least once a year and stopping to eat at Earl's is always on the agenda. We love the place! It has delicious food (especially omelettes but so much more, including delicious Native American fare, like Navajo tacos) and the waiters are so warm and inviting. Gallup is a fun, small town on the way.

Passing through town and stayed at a hotel. Went here for an early dinner around 5:00pm. The Monday special was Country Fried Steak, so I ordered it. The meal came with green (or pinto) beans, split pea soup (or salad), potatoes (your choice), and a roll to go with the HUGE flattened, breaded, and fried steak. The soup was served first and it was absolutely amazing. I had never before eaten split pea soup so I was worried about how it would be. Oh my goodness! Get some if it is available. The green beans were specially prepared, not just poured from a can and heated and were very good. I got mashed potatoes with (white) gravy and they were good. The steak was definitely something that I would recommend as it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. This was an awesome dining experience as I was solo and sat at the counter bar! Highly recommend stopping here for a meal.

We will definitely be stopping here again when going through Gallup. The food was delicious. The price was unbelievable. Best of all, we had the best server I think I've ever dealt with. His name is Richard (Ricky) and he has an awesome personality, as well as being prompt with our service. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and everyone was friendly.

Friendly, fast and truly good food! We had tacos, burritos, enchiladas, meatloaf and veggies! Met the owner and he was full of knowledge for the area, offered us travel tips and brought out his special carnitas to try (amazing by the way)! You won’t be sorry you stopped!

I'm a public health professional and was thrilled to dine in such a squeaky clean restaurant! Light fixtures, condiments, windows, walls and bathroom exceptionally clean! Kudos to Earl and Staff!!

We had a good meal. This was our 1st stop on a 36 hour trip from Phoenix AZ to Newark NJ and it was easily one of the better restaurants. The wait time was good and the service was efficient.I don't know if I'll visit this area there again but if I do I'll sure look to stop by.

Excellent service, delicious food, gigantic portions, and more! We’ve eaten breakfast at Earl’s three times in the last eight days. First with a party of 8, then 4, and then this morning with 55. This is quite possibly the most popular restaurant in Gallup, and at 8:30 on a Friday or Saturday morning, their very large parking lot reflects this! Yesterday morning, the line to get in stretched out the front door, onto the sidewalk out front. We must have stood in that line for three, maybe four minutes! Members of our various parties ordered oatmeal, poached eggs, pancakes, omelettes, biscuits and gravy, and the biggest cinnamon roll I’ve ever seen-easily shared with four to six people. We called a few minutes before they opened this morning, to ask them if they could accommodate our mob of family members in town for a celebration of life. They handled us BEAUTIFULLY! Three servers, and as far as I saw, every order came out perfectly. The breakfast menu shows two specials, #1 and #5 that both have eggs, hashed browns, and bacon or sausage. The #5 includes both bacon (done to perfect crispy deliciousness) and 4 sausage links—AND two massive, perfect pancakes! While really delicious, these are not particular stand outs—a hearty, tasty breakfast, but pretty easy to find at most restaurant breakfasts—UNTIL— My brother-in-law suggested ordering with a side order of green chili—a New Mexico staple. Sweet Polly’s Purple Petunias! That stuff is incredible! They don’t appear to serve red chili with oatmeal (which looked to be perfect), but just about every other plate I saw had some. The red chili bites back pretty hard, but the green just gives a friendly nibble. You know it’s there, but it doesn’t hurt you. The restaurant supports local Native artists by allowing sale tables in front and by allowing sellers to circulate among tables. It’s pretty obvious some of these folks depend on what they sell to buy groceries when they leave. If you prefer the vendors not approach your table, ask for a “No Sellers” sign, and you’ll not be approached. However, you’ll miss out on a really neat experience. The several I’ve spoken with have patient with my questions, and very pleasant. The items they sell are typically modestly priced, and a little bit touristy. If you’re willing to pay a bit more, there are some gorgeous items to be found, though. I truly doubt if I’ll ever eat anywhere else in Gallup. Earl’s you folks are AWESOME! Thank you.

The creation sandwich was very good and different. Hubby liked the French dip. Very local place! Stopped for lunch on our way back to Indiana from Arizona.
