It was ok. Not the best Mexican restaurant in Farmington. It was during lunch time and I understand it was busy but it took over 25 minutes to get our drinks. The chips they gave us was mostly broken into small pieces. The waitress was really nice. But the price was a lot for 3 people, the food was good but not that good since it got cold fast. I never complained about restaurants but this was disappointing
Service was absolutely awful… took 15 minutes to get our drinks on a very slow day… we had a group of 4 people and she added an automatic tip for 30 dollars. She was not worth a thirty dollar tip especially cause we only saw here when she took our drink/food order and to bring our tab…. This needs to be fixed cause this is now the 2nd time that this has happened
It was so bad I can’t even leave a negative star. This place is called a traditional Mexican food I beg to differ. The service is so bad food is horrible drinks are not what they seem and was missing items from our order that we never received. I rather spend the gas money to drive to Albuquerque to get real Mexican food. And the prices for everything is outrageous $18 for a so called super burrito is ridiculous. I can get better tasting Mexican food from Albuquerque for cheaper and it’s five times better then this place.
My husband and I used to love to go to this restaurant...mainly for the margaritas, because honestly the food is not that great. When the prices started to go up, we stopped going in as much as we used to, but after our last visit, we will not be back again.We decided to go in for one of their margaritas, and on a whim ordered 2 appetizers to go with our drinks. We then decided to have one more margarita, and when the bill came, I was shocked that the bill was $87! Basically, 2 drinks a piece and a 2 appetizers with a tip will set you back $100 bucks. No thanks, we are over it.
We used to love this place until our last visit! We had a very rude waitress that on a party of 5 decided to add an auto gratuity of 18% to our bill! The bill was under $200 and she definitely didn't deserve 18%! Really bad customer service!
Normally I would give this place 4 or 5 stars but we noticed recently that they charge $4.25 FOR A SODA! A FOUNTAIN DRINK! A fountain drink costs a restaurant less than a quarter so if you do the math, that's like a 900% mark up! That's insane! I understand if you're getting a beer or margarita or whatever but I'm talking a plain ol mountain dew out of a spigot. That's right, tap water mixed with cheap, high fructose corn syrup, and carbonation... $4.25 a whack! Everything else is great tho!
Long wait with open tables and was not impressed with service or food . Overpriced and unequal prices .. I had a diet Pepsi and my friend did also and he was charged $3.79 and I was charged $4.50 for the same drink. Tip was automatically charged to bills also. They charge for salsa refills for chips.
If you're looking for overpriced food and beverage look no further. We sat down and pursued the menu and the prices were a shock. We could have gone to a steak house for these prices. Never been a Mexican restaurant where sodas were $4.25. The salsa was the highlight of the meal. Service was okay, we had to stop our server and ask for refills as she didn't come to our table and check on us.
Food wasn't all great. Fries soaked up all the grease from the mushrooms. Waited an hour for our food. Customers who came in 20 mins after us got their food served faster than us. Never again am I going to eat there again.
It was our first time here and we had a wonderful experience! Service was perfect and we were well taken care of and never rushed out. The atmosphere was beautifully decorated. And their booths offer some privacy with high walls. The Mexican music was nice and there are also tvs playing the game. The menu is Huge with an amazing selection and so many pictures. We had a hard time choosing because everything looked amazing. We both got combo platters so we could try a variety of things. Our food came out super quick and hot with great portion sizing. Everything was fresh and super delicious! We left with leftovers and had an amazing time. This is our new favorite restaurant in Farmington when we want to enjoy ourselves and splurge. Highly recommend!
