Food was bland and the liberal use of frozen peas and carrots doesn't justify the price. The carpet next to my table was littered with food scraps, which did not enhance my appetite at all. My server was very nice and respectful. I observed her wait to bring a groups beverages as they were saying grace. With the exception of my server, this was a disappointing experience.
The food could be less greasy...but it tastes good..waitresses are nice.. not a bad place to eat but you leave there smelling like the food and have an awkward aftertaste. The prices are ATROCIOUS for the the buffet
If you like cheap gringy food this is the place. Fried rice looked terrible, did not look like fried rice.Place is grimy. Service is wait time. Place and staff not hygienic. Folding napkins with silverware next to cashier check out line and break table for staff. Waiting area is a storage for supplies. Restroom is terrible. Come here at your own risk.
My family and I got here a little before 11am and there were people parked in the lot and some standing in line. You can tell Arches is a very popular restaurant to eat at.This isnthe first time I have been here right when they open.We walked in and its completely spotless, tidy, quiet and peaceful.Perfect time to dine with family and a baby.
Decided to give this place a second chance. I come to Farmington 3 times a year for work. So I figured I'll try it one more time. Boy was it a bad choice. Break room table is right by the front door in the actual dinning room. The food is bland and not Chinese food at all. (how do you mess this up?)the cashier asked if I would like to tip the server. I only saw her once i during my visit and it was not busy at all for what I had the plates on my table the entire time. Will not be returning ever. Stay away at all costs.l
I went inside to pick up my Togo order and automatically noticed how clean it was so that was a plus BUT, the food was not good. Absolutely no flavor in anything I ordered. I don’t plan on going back
Arches has gone downhill with some selections, yet price has gone up!. There are no longer any pastries or cake, just cheaper desserts! Even quit servg. watermelon, and its too bad,it is not nearly as nice without these things.
Randomly selected this restaurant while on a overnight stay in Farmington. Went for the buffet which was about $12-13. Server was attentive with my refills, but the food was not the best. I've had much better Chinese Buffets and much better Average Chinese Buffets. Some of the food trays had no utensils to get the food with. As I was getting ready to leave, another patron flagged down either their waitress or manager to pretty much say what I was thinking ‐- the food was not that hot nor refreshed on a regular basis and some of the food was too dry (like the white rice). I gave up on the peel and eat "Salty Shrimp" -- their description, not mine -- I couldn't peel off the legs and.shells without destroying the shrimp itself. By the time I left at around 6PM, what dinner crowd they had pretty much left.
Buffet is open from 11-2. Best to get there early when they open. But some people don't wear mask when they get their food. I think a sanitize dispenser would help when you get your food. Again the buffet is open. Sunday's buffet open too.
Don't judge a book by its coverOverall we were very disappointed with our visit, especially for the price paid. We experienced long waits for an unoccupied table, and then again for our check. Some of the food was acceptable but most dishes were poorly seasoned with either no taste or dropped the salt shaker effect. The wait staff was polite but inexperienced. While our appetizer dish was being served at the same time as our entrées, it was dropped on the floor. This made for an awkward eating timeline, like starting with dessert. The best aspect of this restaurant is its curb appeal. I'll be honest, that's what brought us through the doors for the first and last visit.
