Very bad service ! My order was wrong and food was completely cold . Then as far as drinks go I only ordered 3 drinks and they could not for the life of them get it right , strawberry lemonade, diet cherry lemonade, and a cherry lemonade with nerds. It look sitting in the drive-thru for 30 min b4 even ordering because the park spaces are considered closed so waiting that long and getting cold food and wrong items is not exceptable.
Have been unable to use the app to order ahead. So you end up having to wait in line for an hour and when you finally get your order and get home with it you realize that you daughters wacky pack meal only has a toy and frys in it. It was missing the burger the main part of the meal! And then I tried to call up there to see about getting it and call 8 time with no answer other then 2 times it was answered and hung up! Overall a horrible experience!
Order hamburgers, tator tots, French fries, and chicken sandwiches. Not sure how old the buns were, but they were as hard as a brick. Onion rings, tots and French fries were greasy, nasty is all I can say. Won’t be going back.
Honestly this was the worst visit ever. They didn’t put tomatoes on the cheeseburgers they got the entire order wrong. Very rude customer service
I understand with covid, our two sonics closed all stalls and only have their drive thru open, but it's ridiculous already. Yesterday I attempted to visit the canal location. The drive thru line was all the way around the building and I was waiting in the street the line was so long. Every stall marked "out of order." I attempted to call to place a to go order. I called for ten minutes. No answer. So I drove to the other location on Pierce, same issue. No one would answer the phone there either. Then I remembered the sonic app after returning home. I placed my order for 2 shakes. It was ready within 5 minutes, at the pierce street location on the other side of town. The canal st location wasn't taking online orders. GET IT TOGETHER CARLSBAD SONIC'S. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE IVE EVER HAD AT ANY SONIC. People used to fill every stall and enjoy the nice evening weather while cruising "the drag" now u can't even drive thru your parking lot bc you drive thru line is wrapped around the building to the street. Not impressed. I hate going to Sonic in this town, by the time I get what my roommate wants, it'd be faster to drive to Artesia where they have their sh*t together.
Sure it might be better later on but with only drive thru and no fryer. And no discount on meals with no fries. Naw will give it time n try again
It took 45 minutes to get food from the time we entered the line to driving away with an order that wasn't correct. The signs advertised a special that didn't exist. I watched the guy in line behind me get his food and drive away. I had ordered a hot dog, a chicken sandwich, a burger, a couple of deep fried sides, and 3 of the poorly labeled I've cream cones. 40.00 dollars was the total and half of it went in the trash.
This Sonic location has gone downhill fast. All the stalls are "out of order" so the drive thru is the only option. It is excruciatingly SLOW. There were almost a dozen vehicles in line and they didn't move an inch in over 15 minutes.The trash cans haven't been emptied and are overflowing allowing trash to blow all over the parking lot and into other properties around Sonic.Today, they refused to let a 7 year old child use the bathroom located next to the drive thru. They said it isn't for public use despite the fact we were paying customers. We exited the drive thru line and decided to spend our money elsewhere. Avoid this Sonic!
I've been here a LOT. Like almost every day. Staff is friendly and awesome. Always able to make them laugh which is good in my opinion. While they haven't always gotten my order right, they have tried hard to make things right when they're wrong. That's why I keep going back.
One of the only places open on Christmas Eve, and they still managed to ruin my order and give me the entire meal cold. Not even lukewarm just cold. Truly a great place to eat.
