We ate there, trying to find something that was not fast food while traveling with our grandchildren. This fit the bill. I had a chicken salad that was delicious
Me: hey our rootbeer is all carbonation and the dr pepper is flat.Mccalisters: sorry there is nothing we can do about it.Sandwich was not prepared liked I asked. Mccalister started out strong in this town and has gone downhill fast. The food is not as good as it was. Portions are smaller. Customer service needs alot of work.
Always made fresh. I've tried every sandwich on the menu and I'm never disappointed. The Mac and cheese is on point and cucumber and tomato salad is absolutely great.
Robust menu with many options. Food quality is so-so. Customer service was good. Order taker did not know anything about the food. Kind of a Panera Bread knock-off
not happy whatsoever , i ordered 6 cups of soup and all 6 werent even halfway full with all the soups i ordered , time after time Carlsbads Mcalisters have shown me why i shouldnt go there and living in a small town the food there is wonderful just lazy sloppy workers , and it needs serious attention and i mean that or its going to get shut down! very unpleased!
Ordered $70 of food 4 adults 2 kids meals, 1 kids meal was a broccoli chicken bowl, it was only 1/2 full and barley any broccoli! 1 turkey melt they left off the avocado, bacon and mayo. 1 Reuben asked for honey mustard but of course was left off! Potato soups were watery and tasteless! Ordered garden salad and got Cesar salad! Sandwiches were all dry.... I'm not even sure why online ordering askes if you want pickles because you NEVER get them!!! My son went back in to ask for them and the girl rolled her eyes making a loud sigh and came back with 2 of the 4 ordered so he left before saying something rude!!! We will NEVER EVER order from Carlsbad McAllister's again!!!
The first time I ate her I was not impressed. My sandwich had very little meat on it. A couple weeks later I decided to give it another try. The sandwich still did not have much meat on it but what was disappointing was my half Savannah chopped salad. Most of the lettuce was the ends of the lettuce head and it clearly was very old.
The Savannah Chopped Salad is my favorite! Top it off with a sweet tea to sweeten the deal! Place the order online and my order is ready when I drive up. Greeted by great, friendly customer service!
Ok food but great tea! This is a descent location for McAlister's. 3 ? because it is my personal opinion a restaurant should be kept clean at all times. I went around lunch time while it started slowing down and plenty of workers to clean. Food was okay at best it didnt have that fresh taste maybe because ingredients have been sitting out? The Tea is actually the Star ? of the show and I would come here just to order the tea alone. Staff was friendly and attentive.
