Enchiladas esta no son EnchiladasSi a ti te gusta tortilla planas on chile muy picante ? ok Pero si no estas no son Enchiladas. This are not Enchiladas is you like just flat corn tortilla with hot spicy Chile on top well then you will like this is your expecting roll filled up tortilla with cheese and chili on top well this is not it so spicy hot I could not even eat it
The service here is a joke. The rudest service I've ever had from a restaurant! You can't call in an order because they hang up on you every single time ! Why even have a phone if you are going to be rude and then hang up once a customer starts talking!
Don’t waste your money here. The food has no flavor. I got two meals from here so I could have dinner and lunch the next day. The Barbacoa gortitos were very plain. Didn’t taste anything besides frying oil. I also got toquitos. Same thing, no flavor. Even the quacamole was flavorless.
We randomly stopped here because it looked like a good place and we weren't wrong. When I say looked like a good place- it appeared to have been there for a while, the menu was posted on the exterior and was easy to read, there were lighted photos of many of the dishes, and there were locals in and out like bees.I got a taco plate with carnitas and The Husband got their version of a Cuban sandwich, and I didn't even get pictures because we inhaled everything.Literally everything in the to-go box was delicious, the chunks of pork were fried to perfection, the rice tasted so good I finished it and I almost never do, and the refried beans had so much flavor.I don't know if we will be back by that way, we were just passing through, but we would absolutely go back!
Cool guy at the register, but hands down the worst breakfast burritos I've seen in my life.Straight up put french fries in the chorizo breakfast burritos. Not even decent fries either. They were straight-from-the-garbage-from-yesterday fries.This is a pitiful excuse for a breakfast burrito. I wouldnt wish these burritos on my worse enemy. Safe to say I'm dissatisfied with these burritos.
Good place for a quick breakfast. Was running low on time needed something quick before going to the caverns. Only thing is parking is very little as this is a small place, but the carne adobada breakfast burrito i had was good
Came here a couple weeks ago, I had ordered the Carne asada fries, Green chile w/ pork. The food was okay it wasn't all hyped out to be. They are kinda pricey for what you are given.
Today I decided to try out La patrona Mexican food, I placed a phone order for pick up. Showed up there’s a male customer in front of me and the cashier is all smiles, then as soon as I pull up to window she has a sour face on! Like wait what? I guess you need to be a male to get treated like a customer! Lol anyways whole time she avoided eye contact with me and was rude and dry like she was doing me a favor by charging me for my food! Anyways food was ok, customer service is very lacking and leaves plenty of room for improvement. Food doesn’t really make up for the rude service so I probably won’t be coming around here!
I'm guessing this is the review for the la patrona food truck here in carlsbad and if so i just want to say these guys make a mean brisket !!! Used to go there on my lunch breaks because it was right by my work lol their fast and efficient.
Called in & ordered 2 asada tortas & a chicharone burrito, picked up the food got all the way home, waited for husband to get home, opened food & we got 2 Asado plates. Good thing we like asado too lol. Really good food & I was charged for what I got so all good. Still really good food!
