Fantastic place! Impeccable service, food, decor, and of course the password to gain access. Lovely spot for romantic dinner, celebration, or to experience high end service. The restaurant is dark and cool, with a live piano player in the background. Did not get a chance to get to the beautiful bar, but will do so on next visit.

Exceptional experience. We had never been to Vernon's, and went for a 60th birthday celebration. Food was beyond expectations. Our party had crab cake and scallops for appetizers. Honestly, best we've ever had. Dinner choices are the pork chops, braised short ribs, and ribeye. Everything was decadent. Service was amazing and personable. Made us feel very welcomed. Bottom line, it was worth every penny and can't wait to go back.

Fun ambience, and we enjoyed our evening very much, with minor exceptions. First of all, the digital menu was terribly hard to read - the fancy font was awful and a hindrance to reading, especially in the extremely low light. We finally gave up and requested paper menus which helped some, but even those were very, very hard to read. This made the first part of the experience stressful, and we made a few poor menu choices because of not being able to fully see what was available or how much things cost. Second, we felt the cost of our dinner was too high for the quality of the food/ ambiance. Most (but definitely not all) of the food was very tasty, but we were surprised at the end by all of the add-ons to the bill - a few dollars here for a special ingredient, a few more there for this sauce, etc. Individual charges for appetizers was an unwelcome surprise, too. I know that food costs are high for everyone now, but I wish this restaurant had handled the upcharges differently. Had the pricing structure been more clear up front, we would have made some different choices. We will probably return because it was a fun place, but we'll have to save up....
