Awesome hot dogs. We got the le blue and the crafty. The le blue has mushrooms bacon and blue cheese, this was a very sophisticated, savory pairing of toppings. It was very enjoyable and made you feel like you where not just eating a basic hot dog. The crafty was the ultimate cheesy dog, if you like cheese on your dog this is the dog for you. It reminded us of childhood and just enjoying the simple things. We also got the sweet potato fries, these where simple and very tasty.
Although I haven't been here in a couple years, it's not for lack of quality food. If you want a superior, delicious well-crafted got dog that is well above the ordinary, you must give Urban Hot Dog Company a try. There are a wide variety of artisan hit dogs available that is sure to appeal to any palette. Although the prices are higher than might be expected, they aren't horrible for what you get but don't expect to get out the door cheaply. Just know that you'll enjoy what you buy. I spent, with tip, about $25 with an 18% tip. Keep in mind though that everything, everywhere, is more expensive right now.I ordered the Fully Loaded and the Chili The Kid (with bacon). I also ordered a Tractor Brewing Hard Apple Cider.
This was my first time ever trying this place today. First off it was decently busy which is always a great sign. The cashier did not seem genuinely interested or excited to serve us, and didn’t acknowledge us. He simply rang up the food and told us the total.We sat down and within 5 five minutes we received our hot dogs. We ordered fries too but understandably expected them to take a little longer. Maybe a minute later we received our fries. A gentlemen by the name of John served our food. John was extremely professional and apologized greatly for our fries being late. Honestly I didn’t even mind the fries being late, again we expected the fries to take longer but didn’t worry about it at all. John informed us he comped our entire bill due to the fries being late, we told him he definitely didn’t had to and that we were just fine! John expressed to us that it wasn’t part of his standards to have food come out separately and again apologized profusely.We spoke with John and what a great guy he is! He alone will be the reason we return, he showed they care for customer satisfaction and that is amazing. Also delicious food!
The.best.hot dog.I.have.ever.had!!!! The menu is fun and inventive, and actually a wide selection even though they specialize in hot dogs. The atmosphere = great vibes and the restaurant was very clean and I noticed they thoroughly sanitized everything. The employees were kind and helpful and extremely good natured. I will definitely be back soon to try out different hot dogs and also some sliders and fish and chips! I highly recommend you do the same ? I meant to take photos but everything was so perfect when it came out I couldn’t help but just dig in.
The food is tasty and pretty good in terms of quality, but it is very expensive for what it is. The hot dogs themselves are small, and even their most basic option comes in at nearly $5. Be prepared to pay $7-8+ for one of their speciality dogs w/out any additions/substitutions (which are up-charges). Side items are also an additional charge. Me and my wife spent over $20 for 2 dog, a shared side of fries, with no drinks, and we were both still hungry when we left. It’s unfortunate they don’t offer a combo option for a dog, a side and a drink at a more reasonable price point.
This restaurant iz really Incredible !!! I had heard about them B-4, and I went there 2 C what all the talk waz about !! ......They feature So Many different way'z 2 prepare, N dress uP their Hotdog'z / Italian sausages, that Each One haz it'z own distinct flavor !!!!!!! ....... Not 2 even mention their separate side dishes, like their Flash fried brussel sprouts !!!!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Friendly service both on the phone and in person. Delicious food-I want more more more! No wonder they're so busy, but even super busy, we got our food super quick and with a smile! We got the crunchy onion, South Carolina, sweet potato fries and Flash fried brussel sprouts. They were out of fish and chips due to supplier changes so we're excited to try those next time!
Great spot worth trying! Couldn't order online and it being on the opposite side of town, took a chance and it was worth it! Went in on a Saturday morning within the first hour and they were packed but staff took care of it all great and food was moving quick. Chile renello dog was great! Their vegan dogs are really good too!
My family and I came in for lunch to try it out before it got national attention (not a fan of long lines). I ordered their popular dish The Crafty (a hot dog topped with macaroni and cheese and bacon), my FIL got the Chicago (looked like hella vegetables), and my daughter got their mini dog bites (sliced hot dog, deep fried in batter [their version of a corn dog]), regular fries and their rosemary and whatever fries. The only thing I enjoyed there was the fountain sweet tea and regular fries. I felt that the hot dog itself wasn’t very strong. I could’ve saved gas and money by making it at home. For me, I want to go somewhere that I can’t make at home. The seasoned fries weren’t great, it was quite dry. Smash burger has better seasoned fries.It also took sometime for our meal to come because they were not fully staffed (not the reason why I gave 3 stars because I understand, COVID has screwed everyone over) so keep that in mind when coming in. Maybe don’t come in ravaged with hunger.My FIL wants to come back to try something else, maybe a bratwurst or something other than their hot dog.
