I’ve been to uptown sports bar soooo many times. I checked online for the day and it said closes at 2 o clock. I know Covid hours can be iffy. However, my bf and I hadn’t been in for awhile, looked like a lot of new employees. We go to the bar, sat down at the actual bar around 1245 and we literally watched the bartender serve all the people around us. She looked busy so we let her do her thing and waited patiently for our turn. Finally, the other bartender comes over at 105/110ish and asks if we had ordered anything yet. We said no and she says they did last call at 1. Mind you the other bartender is still serving people…. We let her know that we had been sitting their for 20 min and that the other bartender had asked everyone around us what they wanted and skipped over us. She says “oh really.. well I don’t know, I can’t do anything about it”. We asked, “so you are not going to serve us”. She said no. We hadn’t had any drinks all day so they definitely couldn’t say we were intoxicated as an excuse. As we were walking out the bartender was still serving people drinks… I had asked for their names, Fallon and nickolette. After the treatment we received, we have not planned on going back there.
My husband and I frequent this bar but we will never go back. I would not recommend it to any baseball fans because even though they claim to be a sports bar, they could not accommodate us when we requested for the Dodger game to be put on. After a while they got the game on a small tv in a corner where we couldn't even see it. When we asked about it again, the manager was rude and sarcastic. I understand there can be technical issues or something but he was not apologetic at all. What sports bar doesn't subscribe to MLB? Find a better place to go.
The only reason I’m docking a star is because one of the guys was unprofessional on the phone. I simply called to see if they would have a game in that I thought wouldn’t be there. He wouldn’t answer my question and I heard someone else in the background say to hang up the phone on me, so he did. I went anyway after talking to the manager, watched the game ate some good beer and the food was good bar food. Service was fast. I’ll be back
There is not really a happy hour anymore like advertised! Happy hour as stated from the waitress on 4/7/22 is from 4 to 6, no food specials, only a $1 off well drinks. She also stated their webpage is out dated and not kept but I pointed out all of the prices matched. They do have daily drink specials listed on the website. Idk Anyway they have a small menu but the food is descent and beers are good Mixed drinks are lacking alcohol as always! Other than that, it is a relaxed atmosphere with a good mix of ages to catch a game.
Absolutely loved the place. It's dark, mostly quite, awesome staff, and the fried mushrooms were <3
This place is good. The staff is friendly. They do seem to run out of food items a lot though. I would suggest coming here especially for sports if you want to watch on one of the 50 TVs they have which is awesome because no matter where you sit you can see.
I went on a Monday night, so it wasn't popping. However, the drinks were great and reasonably priced, great decor everywhere, and nice staff. Definitely recommend.
Great clean, laid back bar to have a drink and relax. Wife and I visited on a Tuesday night to have a couple drinks. Tons of TVs with sports and music playing overhead....not too loud. Good service and a very comfortable atmosphere. Food menu I'd you are hungry.
Been going to this bar for years now, and I can honestly say I have never had an issue once. Most of the staff is nice and friendly and their food is bomb. It's nice to know that the bartenders are knowledgeable in making drinks whenever asked to. Plus pool tables are always open when I go.
We actually went to the Alien Brew Pub side and our bartender, Chelsea (hope I spelled that right), made the most righteous hot toddies I've ever had. Kudos to her!
