My to-go order took over 30 minutes. We left and went to eat but discovered it was the wrong order. I went back and got a refund. The employees are nice enough but the overall experience was not pleasant as I had 3 kids wanting to eat. My order was #195 but I was given #466.Management needs to do a better job of training the employees and also hire more people to be more efficient. We got in before the crowd but it still took longer than expected. Apparently the locals know to order 30 to 45 minutes in advance of arriving for their food.If you're not local reconsider your dining options especially if you're driving through...
A sacred Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul filming location and that's why I went. As far as that's concerned it was a five star experience. Anything beyond that was comparatively irrelevant. I did however eat there too just to be able to say I ate at Los Pollos Hermanos, but have to say it wasn't great food and certainly not healthy. In fact the restaurant wasn't clean as several of the tables were not wiped down. That aside, there is Breaking Bad memorabilia there with a corner of the restaurant adorned with pictures and other show related items. Everything is pretty much as it is in Breaking Bad, both inside and out. When you go, there will be many things you recognize from both iconic shows and many scenes it will make you think of. Definitely worth the visit!
The food isn't gourmet, but it was good. I had beef tacos and I was happy with them. Most importantly, if you are a Breaking Bad fan, you will love it. Twisters is the actual name, but this is the location the show was filmed in. There is some memorabilia and posters, and the woman who took my order was still wearing the Los Pollos Hermanos apron. There are a couple of photo ops and you can sit where the characters did in the show. Yes, it's cheesy, but as a fan of the show, I loved bringing it to life.
The twisted burrito was not tasty, there wa like a burned after taste with the chilli.BUT... This place is awesome being seated at Walter White's table. Also they still the Los Pollos Hermanos on the wall.Breaking Bad was one of the best tv shows ever.
I had never tried Twisters before, so I was looking forward to trying it. My order was simple. Green Chile cheeseburger with curly fries and a soda. I waited a long time for my order. They serve the good in a Styrofoam container. So mark them down on minimizing their eco foot print. The food inside was so disappointing. The burger was put in the box lopsided with the top and patty half slid off. Most of the green Chile wasn't even on the burger and it was the mildest green Chile I've ever had. No spice to it at all. The fries were really bad. Soft, luke warm. Blah. Don't bother stopping here, just keep going.
We were so disappointed in the service, or lack thereof, that we walked out. When we were initially greeted to order, we asked for a couple minutes for our young kids to decide what they wanted. Once we were ready, no one came to take our order, in fact, we were actively ignored. The young woman seemed to actually hide from us around the corner and when I politely called to her that we were ready she literally walked to the back. We're generally very patient with service workers, especially these days, but this was way beyond what we've come to expect with the labor shortage. Completely unacceptable and we won't be going back.
Great place to grab a bite to eat. I had the Green Chile Burger and it was really delicious. The portions are huge. I originally just went there for the Breaking Bad memorobilia, but it was a nice surprise. I recommend that restaurant not only for the fans of BB, but to anyone, as it was great.
The place has gone down hill. Service is slow, they are unorganized and one of the girls in the front is very rude. It's also messy and dirty. They have a dirty caddy that's supposed to hold napkins and condiments but it looks like it's been ransacked and never filled. It took 45 minutes for food and they weren't even busy. They are also very unprofessional. In response to Twisters message I did call and speak to a manager the same day of the incident and I was basically told it's not their problem.
Amazing experience to visit this Breaking Bad movie scene and got to eat their breakfast burritos!
Twice they screwed up my order. The first time they gave me some bean burrito instead of green chili bacon breakfast burrito. After six months, I tried again, and the same order - green chili bacon breafast burrito, they left off the green chili. Terrible place.
