Will never go here again. We were given a 30 minute wait for a table which turned into a 40 minute wait; this wasn’t a really big issue since we sat at the bar and had drinks while we waited. While waiting at the bar we noticed that it was warmer than usual, and after being seated at our table the temperature near the salad bar was still high. When I asked our server why the it was hot she just ignored me. I can only assume the AC was broken. We asked our server to bring us waters to drink and it took nearly another half hour to get our waters. It’s a possibility the server may have been confused because some of us had brought our drinks from the bar. We had already started eating before getting water. This point this is when the entertainment really started. A lady from the sidewalk passing by started yelling and screaming at a table closest to the glass windows (we couldn’t hear a thing). The lady kept this up for a good fifteen minutes, all while taking taking bites out of her styrofoam cup. Eventually our server tried to go tell the lady to go away, which didn’t work, then the head manager became involved which only seemed to agitate the screaming lady. The yelling lady began to speed walk in a figure eight motion for about thirty times yelling, before eventually leaving. The meat was actually very good, the salad I made myself, from the salad bar, not so much because it was warm. Then comes the part for desert. Someone from our party had a birthday and had signed up for the Tucanos birthday gift, which included either a desert or a free lunch. The person from our party decided to get the ice cream. We gave our server the phone number to redeem the ice cream and waited, and waited, and waited. And never got the ice cream. We just switch our little indicator to green again and waited for the grilled pineapple instead. The server eventually came back and asked if we were ready for the check, being that we were no longer in the mood for desert we said yes. We had four people in our party and only three people ate. We let the server know that since we didn’t get the ice cream we wanted to redeem the birthday meal instead. She came back with the check and the check STILL had a charge for four meals. I told her to fix this since one person only had a beer from the bar and the the other person was redeeming her birthday meal. When she came back the last time there was still a charge for three meals. When I told her to what happened to the free meal. The server responded with the card has already been charged and cannot be changed. At this point I just wanted to get out, especially with the AC not working. I’ll attach a picture of my receipt to show I still gave a $20 tip. And at no point did I act like a Karen. What I can say, is I’ll never eat here again. I hope this restaurant runs out of business.

This use to be our favorite place for birthdays or a special occasions. We were there last night for my daughters birthday. We waited 45 minutes for a table, then we were seated. Our waiter told us to help ourselves to the salad bar so we did. We waited for the meat guys to come around and at first they were very slow. Were going to the larger tables first. Then when they got to us they had the last of the meat that was dry or inedible. At one point we waited for 20 minutes and no one brought meat to out table. So we paid way too much for salad and water. We were very disappointed and will not be going back.

Never had been here was the best experience wonderful food and the wait staff was great. Thank you for a great first experience

I was on the Amtrak "Southwest Chief" train heading east to Chicago and we had a 45 minute stop in Albuquerque. A passenger who was getting off the train mentioned trying "Tucanos Brazil Grill" and I'm glad I took her advice. It was less than a five minute walk from the station. It was Sunday and Tucanos Brazilian Grill was offering an" all you can eat buffet" but since my time was limited I ordered something off the carry out menu not realizing how delicious it would be. My order appeared quickly and I was able to stop at a local market too before heading back to the train station. I still had time before boarding so I ate my chicken and mashed potatoes dish. Fireworks to the mouth. Absolutely delicious. Even the rolls served with my meal were great, so light and fluffy. I was beyond impressed. The food tastes homemade and every bite is awesome. The staff was really accommodating realizing I was pressed for time. I enjoyed the rest of my meal on the train wishing I had ordered more food from TUCNAOS BRAZILIAN GRILL. My gosh....so impressive. Albuquerque, New Mexico is a "foodie town." I spent a chunk of time here in the past while I was on a job search and every meal I had in this town was fantastic from Indian to Vietnamese to Mexican. No surprise that TUCANOS was wonderful. What delicious food!

Great food, staff was great to my family, and I. Very clean! The staff was prompt considering how busy they were. We made reservations, I suggest you do the same or you could wait a while. This place dose tip pooling! The management i spoke with told me, that if I tell the wait staff the tip is for my waiter, and only my waiter it should go to them only. Sorry, I tip based on service, my waiter was good to me. He definitely earned the tip I left for him, and him only.

My family went to Tucanos last night. This is the first time going back since the pandemic. The food was good but unfortunately the service was not. The salad bar area was dirty and had not been replenished when I was going through it. The restroom was horrible. We were waiting to order dessert but instead a disinterested server came with the bill and we had to let them know we wanted dessert. Lastly, I had to bus our own table when another table was being cleaned because no one ever came by. I was impressed for the most part with the gentlemen who were serving the meat, pineapple, etc.

Nice place. Good food. The manager is super nice and honest. The food was very good. We will definitely come here again soon!

Visiting from out of state, and never experienced this kind of service before. EVERYONE, took time to show me everything and explain how the services work. The food was great with good surviving sizes, fresh, and always something new in rotation. Even the waiter I had went above and beyond yo make sure I was welcome and satisfied. If I ever get back into town I will be stopping by again.

great as always. our server Scott was great and floor manager Cheyenne was very attentive

The shrimp was excellent but overall presentation was poor. I understand that the shrimp takes time but the lemons still had PLU stickers on them after they were prepped… let alone when they were served. This is a rookie mistake I’d expect from a student on his first day and any chef I’ve worked with would have lost their mind if a plate like this went out.The mint in the mojito was somewhat bruised but overall, not bad… just not the freshest. Just watch out they don’t charge you for more than you buy on the receipt because they tried charging me $20 extra for a buffet at the end when I only had 2 plates of shrimp. They corrected it but I’m sure this may be happening to other people so please check your receipts.
