The few times I have been here, I've tried some deserts like the macarons, ice cream macarons and the Gelato. All tasty. Their atmosphere is cute! However, the boba teas, while the drinks are delicious, the boba has been very subpar. Had came the other day and the boba in my drink honestly tasted like plastic. It was also much more harder than it should have been. This wasn't the first time it has tasted like this. I had to just trash the leftover boba after I finished my drink, which I hated doing because I love boba. Maybe being a Monday they just didn't put much effort into the process? But I will try again at some point in the future.
It was my first time in here and I was so excited because it looked like it would be a bubbly or at least warm welcome. None of that. I wasn’t greeted. Once I was ready to order I stood there and waited for a couple of minutes and proceeded to ask one of the employees of the screen in front of me is where I would place my order (because they were just standing there giggling and playing around). The kind of snarky, annoyed response I got was “They were doing something and will get to me when they’re done”. I shook it off and proceeded to the place next door to order my food. When I came back to pick up what I ordered I saw the same girls greeting and being super friendly to the people to walked in after me. Needless to say don’t be of darker skin tone in this place or you’ll get below basic service. To never come back again. Plus my macaroons were stale.
Stressful experience- parking lot doesn’t support all the businesses in this location. Chaotic lobby- layout doesn’t allow room to enter and there is no place to efficiently pickup online orders. Received our order and 2/4 cups were not filled. I was given some cup shortage explanation, but everything ordered was the same size. ??♀️. Online menu does not have all drink options but anyhow- the drinks were ok.
Drinks are good, inside was cozy. Would’ve been a 5 star, had the manger not be incredibly RUDE! took off my mask for a couple minutes due to thinking my order was ready it had been awhile and people had been receiving there’s ahead of us. She walked in the store, completely flipped out. Shouted out loud for every business on that block to hear. Than toned it down when she noticed I was not being argumentative and complied. Clearly making a scene as in hopes I argue back. She looked at her workers like they were crazy for allowing this ! Poor things looked terrified. Every area in that cafe was available to sit, drink, talk, and be social. If she is so concerned with spreading this virus she needs to make the seating less enticingly social.
I loved the ambiance. It has and upstairs. Nice place to hang with friends.
Don't buy Taro Bubble Tea here. It doesn't taste like taro bubble tea at all. We had to throw away them. The macarons are too sweet as they were poured with sugar.
This place is usually really awesome, but lately they’ve been really really messing up. The last few times I’ve gone I have asked for a milk substitute and I was given whole milk. I’ve gotten extremely sick from it and it’s really upsetting because I’ve stayed away from milk for years and my stomach has not reacted well to it. Please be more mindful when someone asks for a substitute. Allergies and sensitivities are very real. I’m unable to bring the drinks back because I get them before work and I usually don’t try them until I get settled at work. I wanted to enjoy my favorite warm drink on a long night shift and instead I’m held up in the bathroom with the worst nausea and diarrhea. Won’t be returning anytime soon. :/
This place is the cutest! Their drinks are great! I have yet to try any of the other items they have. There is a lot of seating, their wifi works wonderful, and service is very quick. I spent most of the day there and despite it being very busy, the two employees there were getting orders ready very quickly. I also love that the whole building is attached to the owners other business, Poki Poki. Makes it easy to pop over and get a different type of meal if you’re there long enough to get hungry!
Normally love this place. The drinks and food are all great! But I came today at exactly 8:40pm and they were already closed and locked up. I went to the door to see if I could get just one simple drink, because there were people inside cleaning, and they completely ignored me.
This place is so cool I love it I will definitely come here again the boba is so good
