This is our go to place! Food is always delicious and huge proportions. We have never been disappointed. We order breakfast burritos for my work often form here and everyone is happy. If you know how hard it is to please office full of people you understand the amount of thankfulness we have when everyone agrees and is excited to order form here. So glad to have stopped in again. We like to go for late breakfast or lunch about 1 time a week and stopped in last week. It had been about two years. We missed the great food and plan to do regular visits again
Absolutely amazing place. Became one of our favorite spots instantly. Cool dining area, very home style feel. Awesome soup selection. I should have gotten the Rio Grande sandwich (I'm pretty sure that's their best one)
Small but they must have a new cook a lot better than before. Now they have salsa and chips, posole,.green Chile chicken soup. Also a small salad bar. I like their breakfast menu and they have good coffee. Their person who takes your order is a little impatient so know what you want. The owner and his wife are very friendly and accommodating.
My friend and I use to eat here all the time when we worked nearby. Food was great. However when I was driving by the area today I stopped in. I was sad to see my ole favorite The alb Turkey wasn't that good anymore. The avocado was just a tiny smear in there and the sandwich was just bland. The side queso n chips I ordered was the same The cup of queso was all dry on the top and tasted bland. ?. Sorry I was Soo let down. ?
If you're from ABQ, or if you're visiting, this place is straight up excellent. Just good old NM food, from a NM classic. Hope and the SC team will make sure you enjoy your experience!
Super nice small town diner it's out second time here and the service is amazing had the day specials then the second time around it was salads to go

I heard good things about this place so my mom and I went - first time there. We didnt know what sandwich to order so I asked the cashier and she was really polite and helpful. It's busy in there. The dining area is small. Everyone there was busy eating and talking enjoying their lunch. The waitress was very kind. I ordered the burger and it was okay. My mom ordered the vegetarian sandwich and she loved it. Fries, soup and salad were great. I got the impression everyone there eating were loyal customers - a happy group of people.?
