Worst place for burritos and tacos. My family was very unsatisfied with this place. Food was very salty and old tasting c'mon the tortilla was literally falling apart from being old, tasted stale. The employees are very rude and confrontational when this was brought to their attention. This place is not even deserving of one star. Plus they supposedly support veterans but I was treated very poorly.
Love the food, the staff, the service and the prices! Note: please ask the staff to put at least 1 napkin per burrito in the bag. 1 napkin for 3 burritos won't cut it!
We used to eat at the Academy/Wyoming location a lot. The food was always excellent. But since it’s been closed for a while now, we thought we’d try the Wyoming drive-thru location. Ugh. The food was not the same! First, they messed up our order royally. Second, the items were not of the same quality or consistency as the Academy location. For example, the Chicharrón burrito was like a totally different burrito than the Academy location. The chile was like water and not flavorful, the ingredients were slightly different. We were disappointed.
I like to come to stripes whenever I'm in the area. Chicharron is my favorite so I usually order that whenever I go places that offer it. They put a ton of chicharrones in the burrito. I'm not much for the breakfast chicharron burrito that stripes has but the lunch one is so good!!
In past I have enjoyed their chicken sandwich and tacos. I tried a breakfast burrito today and Yipes, it was awful. The potatoes were so hard it was inedible. I will still support Stripes but avoid the burritos.
So freaking good!!! Been eating New Mexican burritos for almost 30 years and this is one of the best ones ever!! Loved that it tasted great without being greasy. Ingredients tasted fresh. Eggs were perfectly fluffy. Burrito was definitely huge. Coffee was amazing. All for around ten bucks!Staff was very friendly and fast as well. Proud to call this a local place. Much better than Blake’s, Twisters, and Federico’s and even Golden Pride. Hope you continue to expand and even open some out of state locations.
The breakfast burritos are good. They have small & large, you can get smothered or handheld so eating on the go works great. They use the little cube potatoes and actually cook them done which I love. New Mexican cuisine can be had here at a reasonable price. Thanks Stripes workers :)
Great food at a reasonable price. Only gave them 4 starts because the Carne Adovado burrito looked like it'd been run over by a truck! Slow down just a little bit when you prepare them we all appreciate a well rolled burrito that's not flat.
Favorite burrito place in town, they have really good burrito but the chicken they make is also delicious. Plus you can add bell pepper and onion to any burrito and it's Fantastic
Just heard about Stripes, & today was our 3RD day/7days, that we have eaten here. Everything is delicious!!!!! My teen agrees. I can't get enough!!!!! Best food in town!!! Score, pour Moi!!!!!
