I have heard that this is a good place to go, particularly for those who like fish. I found the saving grace of the ENTIRE evening, Katlin. If I had any control I would have given her the tip since she did all the work. She brought us out our food and utensils almost as soon as we finished getting our drinks, she was polite, asked if we wanted our take out food to stay under the warmer until we were leaving, and returned just as we were finishing our meals. Honestly it was some of the most incredible service I've received from anywhere and I did not expect it from this restaurant. The food was okay, fresh, ethically sourced. My problem was with the rest of the kitchen staff. I'm not naive. Nor am I the type to be shocked by cursing but we had the table right next to the door and could hear EVERYTHING the kitchen staff was saying. It ruined the meal. I doubt I will ever eat here again simply because of the disgusting conversation that the kitchen staff were having. If you have any constitution whatsoever, don't eat here. Chances are you'll find the staff's training to be lacking in basic professionalism.

Service and food is delicious! I got the lobster grilled cheese and talk about a wonderful surprise! It was delicious! Lots of lobster with just enough cheese to give you an awesome cheese pull. Hubby got the double portion fish and chips. Dish was like a variety of light tender fish that was cooked perfectly! Fries are perfectly seasoned and fried. Crispy on the outside and soft and delicious inside, coated with their yummy seasoning. Best place in Albuquerque for seafood!

Amazing food and great customer service

everything tastes so good. i will definately be back for more. great service also

Amazing food and staff. Very friendly

I've now gone here a couple of times. It's kinda crazy how they're not really that busy but their food is fantastic. The staff are very welcoming and there is quite a selection of stuff you can choose from. The sodas are not the typical provided by Tractor Soda Co. But they are fantastic and have real sugar. This has made it to my top 5 for food in Albuquerque.

Great food, I really love the unique twist of the menu items. Taquitos and burritos are outstanding plus they serve local brews on tap. Good date night, we will be back.

Have to say I had a pretty disappointing experience at Slapfish winrock. I've eaten here a couple of times before and the quality was acceptable, but this time I gave in to my cravings and ordered the lobster roll. What I received did not come anywhere near my expectation. The lobster roll was unbelievably expensive at $30. A sandwich full of claw tips which don't even qualify as lobster meat in my opinion. I could have bought two whole lobsters and cook them myself for that price. And I promise you I could have done a better job. If you're going to charge for premium lobster, then you better be putting pieces of the whole lobster in there not just some rubbery tips.

the place is okay. prices are high and not even mentioned on the website.I was not impressed by this place. I had ordered the shrimp wrap, which was supposed to be a pita, but got a HOT DOG roll instead with NO explanation. My friend ordered a fish dish that had enough french fries for 3 people. and they have No fresh drinks, like tea or coffee. Its fountain drinks or bottled.Wont be going back there.

Witnessed humanity at its finest today thanks to our server Jessica! Not only did she provide exceptional customer service, but we saw and heard her interaction with a customer who appeared to be a Streetperson. He was disheveled, clothes and face dirty, but Jessica served him a meal and spoke to and treated him with such dignity. All restaurants need great humans like Jessica working for them!
