A lot of people rate this place pretty high, but my first experience here was lackluster and made me wonder if I missed the mark in my order and the timing of being here.I showed up a little after 1 pm on Tuesday, it was hot and stuffy in here. The doors were all wide open and I got to sweat in a fishy-smelling restaurant. Is the cooling system down? Maybe, but it definitely drives customers away.I ordered fish and chips, it was strange that they were piled together in a bowl to me, but that's fine. The tartar sauce that I asked not to get was spilled all over everything in my bowl. I don't like it and always ask to not have it. I feel like it tainted my food. I had to ask where utensils were at as nobody mentioned it was a go-get-your-own place.A manager was there and a few employees. Two other customers besides myself were there. It was just way way way too hot inside, stuffy, and I left feeling gross. Fish and chips were just meh, nothing spectacular.

This place used to be one of my favorite places to eat. They’ve been “franchised” out. The delicious Tractor soda is gone and has been replaced by BORING Coca-Cola products. I ordered the epic shrimp burrito. The cashier rang it up wrong as a shrimp roll. My son and wife got their food within about 20 minutes and then it took them another 30 minutes to get my burrito out. The shrimp was over-cooked and way over-battered. I think that it was more batter than shrimp! They didn’t have the same sauce over the burrito and the presentation was nothing like it used to be.During that 30 minute wait they managed to get a few other table’s food out. I used to be a chef. If you mess up and order, you RUSH to fix it and get it out so the whole table can enjoy the meal together. The cashier tried to apologize and it was really weird. She even asked what my toddler son’s name was. Who does that?! Totally bizarre.Luckily, they refunded me for their mess up. Only my entree, but I’ll take it. The problem? All cash. So not only did they mess up the service and the food, but I also have an errand to run now to put the cash in the ATM. I didn’t even really care about the money anyways… I just wanted the quality of food that they’ve always had. That’s what matters.Overall, I am very disappointed and we won’t be returning. They took everything that was good about it and made it mediocre.

Yummy fresh fish with fast, friendly service. The parking lot is busy during lunch with so many restaurants in one area, but it's definately worth the stop. Poke bowl was delicious! Highly recommend.

I don’t do reviews until I eat more then twice. So here we go, this is a local business so I try hard to support local. First the staff: with no doubt the staff is fast to say HI, fast to throw out the foray smile. Now the food: I have been to uptown and Holly and both have this burger I can’t stop eating. SURF N TURF BURGER (hungry) you better be because this burger will dominate that gut with flavor! BAM your not hungry! Now the SHRIMP ROll is large n in charge. The clam chowder was yummy. Bring a wet towel with you lolCome in hungry leave wobbly ??

I go here at least once a month sometimes more often. I always get the deluxe fish taco. It’s recently gone up in price, but what hasn’t. Good always fresh, people always nice and way better food for the money than fast food. Cheaper too. I highly recommend!!

Always one of my favorites for seafood in town, I get the epic shrimp burrito. Restaurant is always clean, staff is polite and helpful and great quality food. I am not a soda fan and they have the best sodas. They are always fast with our order even during the pandemic we got great service. Will be back

My wife must visit a nearby doctors group about once a month. Whenever we're there we also must stop at Slapfish. Great selection. Good prices. Beer and wine. Love everything we've ever gotten. Keep telling them to open a place in Santa Fe.

Multiple types of natural sodas on tap and a good local beer selection. I had the power bowl and my friend had the lobster roll and both were freaking awesome!

Really delicious fresh tasting fish. You place your order at the counter and it's then delivered to your table. They have several daily fish selections which you can have built into a bowl, a salad, or a sandwich and you get to pick a side and how your selection is prepared.

They call this tiny bruschetta a lobster roll. I'm fine with $34 market price but I was expecting a full roll ?
