The food and staff were amazing and made for a lovely evening and were very attentive. They provided a wonderful atmosphere and a comfortable dining experience.
Food and service were very good. They had our reservation special requests and they sat us right away. Only one very minor complaint, they were a little slow getting the bread and butter out. And, the tiramisu was a little sweet so not as good as previous visits. Our waiter Matthew was especially attentive to the two children, ages 1 and 2, in our party.
Great food and service. Remodeled patio was lovely. Plexiglass 1/2 wall drowns out noise from Central avenue, but still gives that open feeling.
We hadnât been to Scalo for years and decided to try it with a group of friends. What a great surprise. The food and service were both exceptional. They have a fabulous bar inside and a range of interesting cocktails. I love that their is indoor and plenty of outdoor seating on their patio too. The waiter was attentive and professional. Overall it was a great dining experience.
We are at Scalo last summer and it was dreamy. The food was perfection. This time was underwhelming. We had antipasti, bruschetta, filet, radiatori pasta, chicken, pizza, broccolini, and risotto. The drinks and the olives on the antipasti were the best thing on the table. They have work to do on their menu. Very bland. Disappointed.
A surprise spot for us. Great Italian with excellent service (Gibson). Executive chef here does great work and his pork is not to be missed.
My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner and it was wonderful! The food tasted phenomenal - so many little details that made every bite delicious! The outdoor seating area was nice, even during the heat wave. And our server was great! We were one of the last seating times of the night, and our waiter made sure to check with us about dessert when the kitchen made last call so we wouldnât miss out. Would definitely eat here for a special occasion again!
We look forward to dinner at Scalo for weeks! We don't get to Albuqueque that often, especially in this heat, so it's great to know this place exists and still offers to best food in Albuquerque.
Lovely evening - great value as pricing was reasonable and food and drinks were amazing. Our waiter was wonderful - attentive and knowledgeable but not overly so.
