Much better. This Satellite hired this guy who should be teaching customer service to every employee of every business/corporation who works with and for the general public. He seems sincere -- but I don't care if he's not. I get a good cup of coffee at a reasonable price, and when he's working the window, I also get a big dose of low-key kindness that lasts me the rest of the day. I don't know his name but you'll know him when you use the drive thru, if he is working that day.
Great coffee and food options. I'm not normally a sweet coffee drinker, but the reviews of the Mexican Coffee sold me. It was delicious. The breakfast burrito seemed like it was made fresh on-site. It was not a pre-made wrap that they microwaved. Working conditions could be improved with better access to electrical outlets, which is the reason for my 4-star review. But, the internet is easy to access and fast enough for my video calls.
Honeybee latte was delish- kind of tasted like a Graham cracker, but in a really good way. And the new Mexico breakfast burrito was super tasty! Will definitely be back when I'm in Albuquerque again.
It was a nice coffee shop. I ordered the Honeybee latte and it was really good. The staff were very nice and it was very clean.
Very Questionable Sanitation Standards and Covid Spread Mitigation Practices.Today, 12/28/2021, our Tuesday morning coffee club visited Satellite Coffee. We were there from 8:20 to 10:45am. At no time did anyone come out from behind the service counter to clear, clean nor sanitize the self serve condiments bar surface nor creamer pitchers, table tops nor chairs, bathroom door handle, entry door handles nor the bathroom key holder conveniently located out of the control of any staff member. Additionally, there was an individual allowed by management to occupy a table (within full view of staff) where he leaned up against the wall...asleep...for the full duration of our visit. I can only imagine what other ABQ City Health Codes were being ignored and or violated at this location, sad...and disconcerting.Michael Slaughter1/3/2022Our coffee group plans a visit to this location on 1/4/2022. I've been coming here for years and I love it. Great staff, great atmosphere, and great coffee. I can't recommend Satellite and the staff enough.
Satellite on Montgomery and Wyoming is a nice cozy atmosphere and great food/beverages. Although they have a tendency to hire the most rude employees I have encountered anywhere in Albuquerque. This has been going on for years and we are tired of the abuse we receive while ordering a beverage. Perhaps they need to be reminded that our business equals their paycheck. Please stop hiring awful mean abusive employees that bring their personal problems to work and make the customers pay for it.
I’m torn with this review. The early crew in the morning are great to work with. The afternoon team has a team member who is rude and condescending.
would give this a 5.. but saw how the employees were treating each other. not to say any names but Karissa and Matt were being extremely rude. if they learn how to treat each other better maybe their customer service would be exceptional.
Visiting Albuquerque for the weekend and I came across this coffee shop. I really wanted to try it since it is a place we do not have back home. I order a dirty chai which was wayyy too caffeinated, I couldn’t even taste the chai. I also ordered an oatmeal which was good but I thought it was very similar to the packaged ones and found it over priced. Overall my experience was good but I do not think I would regularly visit .
