Sal's Italian Ristorante is EXCELLENT! We enjoyed Salmon with cooked with white wine and capers, and lasagne al forgot. Accompanied by a delicious Pino Noir. Dessert was a Limoncello cake. YUM!

I would give this place a six star if possible. I am not a pizza fan but this was really really good. My partner eats a lot of pizza and we can say this is the best one in Albuquerque. This is like coming to your friends house that are super hosts and that cook amazing. this is a family business that enjoy what they do, their service is so great that you feel really comfortable like no other place here. We have a special person in our family and it is hard to go out to restaurants because there is a lack of empathy, but here is different. The food OMG!!!! Fresh pizza, quality chesse, best calzonne ever!!!! To those who run this business, CONGRATS.

The chicken cacciatore is white breast meat. I was hoping for thigh and dark meat. It was good though. Sauce was very tasty.

Best calzone , amazing food , awesome staff... you feel at home ... and I am usually cranky and picky, but they went above my expectations! ? ?

I’m from Mexico City and lived in L.A. and Austin gone to NY n Chicago and I consider myself a pizza ? enthusiast ?❤️‍? and went around abq trying to find the best pizza … FOUND IT!!!.. ??? I had the 4 cheese with pepperoni, yum!! and top it of with amazing service ? Abq best hidden secret, u have to try it ? ??

Great food. Pizza is awesome and the cannoli are the best in town!! Friendly service as well.

The food is fantastic but is the people and how kind they are that makes a trip to Sals such a great experience. We got our order to go and everyone that walked by asked if we had been taken care of or if we wanted something to drink.

Just go to Olive Garden! Or Walmart!Sal's, formerly Mimmo's, is so bland and tasteless that I thought I had covid for a minute. Some people compliment the portion sizes - I wish I could! I got the ravioli alfredo for $15, and we joked that it was just a sample and the real dish was on the way. The sauce was dreary and unflavorful and the ravioli was clearly frozen factory stuff. For the same price, I could have gotten the same dish at Olive Garden where it actually has flavor, and it's not that I think Olive Garden is haute cuisine, either! Also for that price I could have bought the big bag of frozen cheese ravioli and a jar of alfredo from Walmart and had enough for 3 meals. Pizza 9 has ravioli with their red sauce and it's quite good and it's half the price (they also have alfredo but it tastes like storebought). This isn't the first time Sal's/Mimmo's has dissappointed - we've never had a good experience here even though we keep giving them more tries. Once our waiter even forgot we were there so we sat there for an hour without drink refills or food. We were excited to try the place as "SAL'S", but it's just as awful as it was when it was Mimmo's. The people that like this place simply haven't had Italian food that has flavor so they think this is good and keep coming. We're (Albuquerque) so lacking in a basic array of basic authentic foreign food that this garbage gets slopped around and people think it's just lovely.

Love this place! Pizza is the ? boom! The people that own and work there are pretty amazing too! Go get some pizza, you'll love it.

We had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It is by far the best pizza we've had! We also shared a sausage pepper and onion sandwich. It was also good. The service was so good. Our server went above and beyond! I do believe our leftover pizza was boxed by Sal himself. This was our first time in and we will definitely be back! Great place!
