I've been here many times, mostly during covid when they were running a tight ship. The sushi has always been very good here, but I feel the restaurant itself is falling into a state of disrepair. Sticky tables, gross buildup on the soy sauce, dusty ceiling tiles, and dirt and grime in all the corners. I'm not usually super picky when it comes to restaurant cleanliness but I feel this one needs some TLC. It's hard to keep your appetite for raw fish when the atmosphere is so poor.
It's a small dining area, but it's very pleasant and friendly. The food was tasty; it was delicious. Their sauce was a little bit salty, more like a teriyaki sauce. The waiter was very pleasant; she answered all the questions that were asked about certain food items. We didn't have to wait long to be served.
Was searching for good sushi in ABQ, but with no luck. Then I tried takeout at this place. The sushi was very fresh and tasty. I had yellowtail, tuna, salmon, shrimp and scallop.The only thing I would say slightly negative (and it's not really a negative) is the slices of sushi are fat. I prefer it sliced thin. Still very good. Will go back!Also bought the panang curry and laab to be eaten later!
This place is great. The tempura are amazing, there is more than one item on the menu with green Chile, and the tastes are fantastic.
Love this place!! Everything here is so good, especially their sushi. Their miso soup and Tom Yum are delicious as well and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend, best sushi place we’ve been to!
Love love love! We went here on a whim with family from out of town and they were so impressed! Us too, it was all delicious! My partner is not a sushi guy and the chicken fried rice smells amazing and he loved it. The server we had was really nice, love her. 10/10
Outstanding service and food
I love this place. The sashimi pieces are huge and the the curry is delicious. Everything is reasonably priced. I eat here like 2 times a week at least. You couldn't pay me to get sushi or sashimi anywhere else.
This is one excellent, cozy, and authentic restaurant. I can not express enough how beautiful and delicious this food is. Baked mussels and fried Tilapia is great.
Delicious food! And they were so patient with me when I ordered over the phone.
