Great and helpful staff! ?

10 out of a 10 great food great service . impressed

I visited the Academy Road location for dinner. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The environment is welcoming and comfortable. Plenty of tables with a nice Bar in the middle of the Restaurant. The menu offered plenty of options. I went with the 2 item combo with a Chile Relleno an a Tamale. It was served with Potatoes (Papitas) and Beans, all smothered in Green Chile Sauce and Cheese. I enjoyed the “made from scratch” Chips and Salsa while waiting for the meal. Food delivery was fast so I luckily didn’t fill up on the Chips and Salsa. The serving size was huge. Everything on the plate was full of flavor and nicely seasoned. Two Sopapillas were delivered with the meal and I definitely left room for both. They were delicious. The entire meal was extremely good and worth the price. My dinner was around $23, including a House Margarita. For the price, the portion and the flavor, Sadie’s of New Mexico is a definite on future trips to Albuquerque.

what a great waiter and helper we had . awesome food

Great service, great food, great place!! Margaritas are really tasty, the sangria too and there are a bunch of plates that will drive you crazy to choose only one. The shredded pork was extremely good and they bring you appetisers while you are ordering and waiting for your dish. It is completely worth it!! A must if you come to Abq!!

Due to the fact that this restaurant has 4.4 stars and due to the fact that there are 3 locations and due to the fact that so many reviewers said that the food was so good, and due to the fact that it is listed under the filter Mexican/ Southwestern, one would think it would be a good choice. But one look at the menu after sitting down told us that this was not going to be true New Mexican/ Southwestern. (We LOVE Mexican/Southwestern food.). Among the choices for meat fillings for various items was “Billy’s Spicy Ground Beef” or Hamburger Pattie’s (Hamburger Pattie’s?!). The ground beef was NOT spicy and had no flavor. The waitress admitted that she didn’t know WHY it was labeled “spicy” and that it just had some paprika, which is basically a tasteless spice. I ordered a stuffed sopapilla with the ground beef. (The best part of the meal was the salsa served with chips upon being seated.). So I asked for extra salsa to give my meal some flavor. I didn’t catch that the menu items are covered with melted cheese or else I would have asked that it not be. My stuffed sopapilla was COVERED with melted cheddar cheese. My husband ordered the chili relleno plate. He liked the beans served with it, but that was all. There obviously are many people who like this chain. The place was large and there were many people there. It did not sate our desire for good Southwestern/ Mexican before we left the state

First time visitor and we had a blast and departed with full bellies. Plenty of seating and very large menu. The waitress was great, she took the time to explain the menu and offered recommendations. Definitely a place I would return to.

Great experience! Quick and very friendly service, and huge value. I was originally going to order the large nachos, but I was told the small feeds 4 people (and they aren't exaggerating), so I got the small. I went here by myself and now I have leftovers for both dinner and breakfast tomorrow, maybe even another lunch! They arent the best nachos I've ever had, but don't get me wrong, they're tasty. Much better than Frontier's nachos. They also have these pastries that you can put sweet sauce (can't remember the name of either the pastry or sauce, but the pastry itself is in my photos) and it's really good as well. I would definitely come back here. I paid $13 and now have 2 more tasty meals.Plenty of good food for a killer price, and the service is great. Loved my experience here.

AMAZING!! From the service to the food, everything was on point. We only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The services were fast, and we never waited for anything. We ordered the blood orange margarita ?, it was delicious. We never waited on anything, and they made sure our drinks were always full.

Extremely Dissatisfied. Dry chicken enchiladas, over priced fajitas, barely 4 oz if that. About 6 oz of onions and bell peppers. Side of Canned beans with the fajitas.I haven't been here in a while but this place has gone down the toilet. WORST way to end Spa Day. HIGHLY NOT recommended
